I think this might be a real slow burner. There is so much that needs fixed.

I would accept safety and a clear increase in work rate and desire. Maybe 3 of his own men in January and the rest in the summer.

Improve the home form, we've got the worst home form in the league, couple of shots on target away from home every now and then would be nice.

Improvement on the park and no relegation battle is all I’m looking for now. Asking for anything else would be too much the way things stand, maybe a cup run as well.

There’s a lot to fix at the club on and off the park from a footballing standpoint, it’ll take a while to fix it all.

This won't be a quick fix.

Mid-table and pumping hibs.

Clear of relegation and better football on show would be enough for me. Would definitely be expecting us to pump Hibs as well, just to put icing on the cake of course.

Just an improvement in desire and safety and let him build in the summer.

I just want them to get their confidence back - if that happens then they'll get themselves to 6th/7th. Anything else is a bonus.

Yep. Start winning at home and increase our attacking returns.

To get some form of enjoyment watching us play rather than either not being arsed or dreading it.

7 of his first 10 are at home. It's a real opportunity to get some momentum if he can get the players playing how he wants them to.

If you look at the top 6 it might not be too far out of reach tbh, Killie are very inconsistent, same with Hibs, Aberdeen aren't a very good side imo, Motherwell are up and down as well so if we can get on a decent wee run we'll probably close that gap fairly quickly.

Top 5 is doable, might even sneak a chance at 4th depending on who takes points off who and how we do. I guess, given our situation, there is an advantage to a smaller league and playing each other more times.

There is plenty quality in the squad, they are just miserable and disjointed. Stendel comes across as exactly what they need and given how his previous clubs felt about him I think things could change pretty quickly. All it takes is the players to have more of a spring in their step, more belief and inspiration. Some additions in January and we have a real chance at winning the cup if the draw isn't too cruel (like Celtic away next round).

Maybe save that for when we’re not in one, eh? Monty Oh Well

Certain we will get out of it now Stendel is in, but it’s still a squad that has won 2 and lost 14 of its last 23 Dismay

We have been the worst side iin this league over the last 14 months. That's criminal and the man responsible is still at the club

Given we can't seem to raise our game against anyone I'd settle for finishing 10th as we are in deep shit

Daly/Fox/Gallagher/MacPhee/Levein/Murray to be emptied. The more savagely the better

Clare and Walker to be emptied in January for starters

6 members of staff and 2 players emptied all at once. Where do you think the money is coming from to pay all these people off + appoint replacements?

Players can't leave until next month at earliest. Given what's happened over past 3 years do you think the 6 staff can be retained?

As much a case of can we afford to keep them as get rid

I’ll take getting safe of the drop for this season and hopeful that we can bin the coaches and a few players with Stendel bringing in some replacements that allow his style to be played.

Top six/a cup run would be great but I think that’s beyond us for now, especially as I can’t see the cup draw being as kind to us as it was last year.
