Weak minded.

Lafferty should return as he’ll give the place a lift with his patter.

Nicholson is patter vacuum and will shrink again when he gets a wee bit of abuse

Not really comparable. Nicholson's been playing, Walker only made about 5 appearances in 18 months down south, and has shown us why Wigan didn't rate him since he came back.

I'd rather Stendel brought in his own players, though.

If we are going to bring Stendel in without his coaches then land him with yet more Levein signings then we might as well be relegated now.

You're right tbf.

If true then shows Stendel is being dictated to who he should be signing as absolutely no chance he’ll have heard of Nicholson.

On the other hand might not be a bad move, he seems to have been doing well since going to America so not like taking walker who had showed nothing since leaving hearts. Dunno, not the worst move in the world if he was to come back but it’s not a stendel signing that’s for sure.

Did Stendel bring in a lot of players at Barnsley?

Just had a look and he did bring a few in from Hannover and one or two from Netherlands and Austria.

barnsely brought players in with the view to sell them for a higher fee. They got promotion and then when they went up they sold a few of his main boys and never wholly replaced them.

I’ve no idea if Stendel done the scouting and recruiting himself or if it was someone else at the club.

They had that money ball system. That's why he ended up getting the tin tack.

Nicholson is 100% a Levein/McPhee signing, and will not add anything to the team.

I'm pretty sure Stendel knows a few strikers from down south/Germany that would be better for the team.

What a kick in the nuts it must be to be told that the failed management team of the last few seasons is "finding" you quality talent for January.

Fuck me - and we're all sitting here lapping it up.

Sam fucking Nicholson. There are no words. Just fuck off. You’d think bringing back the utterly dire Walker would have seen lessons learnt but apparently not. What a fucking state this club is in.

Might as well bring back Danny Wilson and Robinson if we’re hell bent on reuniting the last team that got relegated.

I reckon we need at least 5 good-for-this-level-players. Talking Naismith level. The Budgie is going to have to dig deep.

It’s a huge window. Going to cost us a fortune. But that’s the fucking bed the club allowed levein to make. And we are going to have to lie in it.

It will cost more if we go down so we need Stendels coaches and a lot of players.

I just hope she realises what is happening. For her to be saying she's looking at 4th is a joke man.

A goalkeeper is absolutely vital.

That second Hamilton goal would have been saved by a decent keeper. Pereira just ships so many soft goals, never seems to make important saves. Bobby is a total liability these days and Doyle is Doyle. Getting to the point you're wondering if Kevin Silva is any worse.

Obviously need a midfielder who can do something with the ball and a striker who can score every now and then. Hopefully Washington is back before the shutdown, must be close. Probably not someone who'll get a lot of goals but he seems suited to the style of play.

Would punt Meshino and Pereira back to their clubs in January, the former is just too lightweight and no use in a relegation battle while the latter is worthless. Not sure how to get rid of the rest of the deadwood at this stage short of terminating deals but could really do with shifting a few of them.

Levein will be telling her that if she hadn't removed him from his position thats where he would have got us.

We should not be trying to sign Nicholson.

Sadly if we’ve made a move it proves Levein/MacPhee are calling the shots for signings and that is yet another nail in our coffin.

Oh of course. That’s what I mean. We have to spend big and that’s because of the clubs policy these last few years. But we can’t afford not to now.
