Seemingly we’re looking at 4 players from one of the worst teams in English football in the last 3 years.

Am I correct in saying that McPhee was at the Middlesbrough/Stoke game the other night? If that’s the case, would it be fair to say that McPhee is scouting players on behalf of DS?? A guy who, along with his co leech, has been responsible for overseeing the biggest influx of huddies our club has ever seen??

I can’t imagine DS has agreed to let Hawdit and Dawdit look at players on his behalf, not for a second. That pair couldn’t spot a player if they were watching Barca/Real Madrid.

What a mess.

Stendel knows two of the players, McPhee knows Michael O’Neill. In terms of his use this I actually a pretty good way to deploy McPhee in my opinion.

Diouf was at Hanover when Stendel was there as a coach, my question would be how many fucking loan players are you actually allowed at one time? We've already got Pereira and meshino that I can think of and looking to add another 4. Surely that would be against the rules.

I think it's a big mistake getting loanees in. The next 5 months are going to be a tough slog and we can't carry passengers that would rather be with their parent side. Can't imagine them being too committed to 50-50s.

Shame business supremo Ann Budge has pissed all our money up against the wall backing the wrong horse, something she continues to do.

Right, gonna have to start thinking positive. I still support Stendel. I just hope these are Stendel appointments and not some concoction by O'Neil and MacPhee to help Stoke.

Stendel worked with Davies and Lindsay at Barnsley and Diouf was at Hanover 96.

If it is that four, it addresses our spine. GK, CH, CM, CF.

If this happened would I be happy? Overall, probably yes.

Davies I've never seen but can say confidently he's better than what we've got. Lindsay was outstanding at Partick and will be a Berra replacement. Etebo is a great talent and I'd be surprised we got him. Was seen as one of Africa's best players and a coup for Stoke. Even now French and Geman clubs linked. But he's had a bad season for injuries and Ill health, so given Stendel recent quotes? Diouf has a proven record over his career of one goal in three games at a high level, despite being played as a winger at times.

I also think breaking our toxic dressing room is important but might be hard for newcomers. Whelan for example got toxicated it seems. Maybe four from the same club gives safety in numbers and especially if 3 are already known to Stendel and all are pro gaffer?

Not sure loan player maximums but if they are all loans then curtains for Pereira, a given, but Moshino also?

Diouf in theory should bang them in up here. In theory.

It’s a big risk bringing 4 loans in to a relegation dog fight but we don’t have many other options. Stendel knows them so it’s not like some of the dross we’ve brought in before.

Diouf has never really been prolific in his career, had a good spell at Hannover but his goal record apart from that isn't very good, not that I'd be against having him as he's almost certainly still better than anything else we have and he has a bit of pace.

At least you can say there not 18/19 year olds with no experience.

The keeper and Lindsay would give us some thing decent to build on.

We would still need another central midfielder and another striker. Although getting cochrane back and in the side might be a bonus.

Nearly 1 in 3 which is good for the level he’s been at. Hearts aren’t getting a prolific striker on loan from anywhere so his record isn’t bad for me.

The only place he should have been deployed to was the job centre with Cathro.

Is it all of a sudden acceptable to have him looking at players because some of them played previously for Stendel?

This bizarre charade needs to end and end immediately.

A few of them have a proven pedigree. I'd rather have experienced Stoke players than Man City no-marks.

There's not much business to be done in January, so this is one of the few options available to us.

It may be risky bringing loan players but not doing so means we're pretty much stuck with the relegation team we've got now.

How about we deploy that tosser in the bin and recruit a real sporting director to get us out this mess.

If Stendel has went I want a GK, CD & CF who can play a certain way and MacPhee has come back with players Stendel knows then in this one instance it has worked well.

It's when he starts suggesting Wyscout boys who run x number of miles a game with an average heart rate of x without actually watching them that we end up with jokes.
