Going to a music themed fancy dress pairty at my burds sisters. Well, her in laws anyway. Should be good as they have a massive gaff with its own bar etc. I'm going as purple rain era Prince.

My old man is working til half 10 then he'll be sat in on his tod so said I'd take him a few cans round and see the bells in.

Stays 2 minutes and I don't really enjoy going out at Hogmanay anyway so not arsed. Would go down the old local with him but it's closed for refurbishment.

Going for a few at my mates house. The wife is night shift the 1st and 2nd so she’s driving/watching the kids while I get melted.

Have been meant to be going to a mate's in Glasgow for ages now, but it's not been a great week and I'm a bit Eek at the prospect of going somewhere where I can't easily sack it and go home if I'm not in the mood. Problem is, because I've had this planned for months I don't have anything else in particular planned. Might just sack it tbh

You seem like the exact type that you just know won't turn up mak, no offence like but come up with some excuse like you've drank some dodgy apple juice in the afternoon and can't make it anymore Laugh

Heh

Would say I'm normally not too bad for that. I actually don't want to stay in either, I just don't want to be somewhere that I can't leave if I'm not in the mood.

Context: there has been a recent death in my immediate family, so the chances of me not being in the mood are fairly high.

I’ll be staying in and having a few drinks in the house. Got the wee yin and then I need to drop her back at her mums on the 1st, so will be taking it easy.

Dinner on New Year’s Day at the mrs mum & dads then heading down to York for a few days on the 2nd. Quite Good

Heading to a pal's for it, probably end up drinking a ton but she's only invited about 6-8 folk so should be nice and quiet at least.

Just having a quiet one with the in laws. I’ll have a whiskey at the bells but that will be about it tbh. Will be getting on it in other ways if the mood takes me though Bobby Christ

Good to hear, Mikey. Was in the Riverside for a few this evening. First time I've been in there tbqh. Meal in Caprice and kicked out of spoons at 11. Laugh Sportmans increased their princes by 10 pence to 2.60 for T last week. Mussy is a great cheap night out. Sound

All the reprobates from the Ship are in Sportsmans most nights now. Slaughtering the karaoke regularly from what I've heard  Monty LewLew

Boy was apparently playing the hits a couple of weeks ago when his false teeth suddenly shot out his mouth and flew across the pub.

Read in the EEN the day they're doing that shitey Mexican restaurant that was on the High Street up into a pub with a beer garden. Opening in March.
