I'm actually a bit excited about what Jamie Walker can do with a bit of decent coaching.

I've always thought he's had ability. However, he's the absolute archetype of the Monster Munch, Turkey Twizzler, bad habit Scottish footballer.

Can he be redeemed by Stendel?

I hope he can be redeemed by Stendel, as he has plenty ability, but my fear is that he becomes our very own version of Riordan and ends up lost to the game due to his shite attitude rather than lack of ability.

If he doesn’t make it now, then he never will.

He has the talent to be one of the more effective SPFL players.

I just wonder if his love for the game has gone. You get a few players like that - big potential but they get to 26/27 and it really is just a job for them in the same way we dick about our jobs.

David Bentley I think is the only one that has been honest about it.

Doubt it tbh. He’s just too immobile and made of glass.

We had him at his peak first time around, he’ll be in the Scottish championship before too long.

I'm sure Walker, or that Assou-Ekotto boy would love a kick about down the park with his mates a few times a week, but the discipline of being a pro footballer can be shite if you don't love the professional side of it.

Actually thought Walker looked sharp up until he broke his leg this season, tbf. Was one of few players who did well in our league group stage games.

Proof with Walker will be if he turns up in the big games, that's always been his issue which suggests to me he has a mentality problem. Hopefully Stendel can help with that but I'm not getting my hopes up. His injury problems won't have helped him.

Think all the injuries have caught up with him. Shame because he's got loads of talent. He was one of the best players in Scotland during the 2016-2017 season.

Surely he’s aware that his stock is low due to the fact he made no impact whatsoever down south, He will also be conscious that any transfer in Scotland is going to be a smaller team.

Under Levein I thought he was finished but strangely optimistic that Stendel can get a tune out him, he will have witnessed Berra and co’s exit and know he has to have the correct attitude and perform to a standard

Inclined to think that Walker is finnish unfortunately. Was a bad signing to make.

I get the negativity. Walker hes been a waste for too long.

I just have a wee feeling he might thrive under this new management and with this new team.

The boy has talent.

Nah don't see walker playing a big part for us tbh, chuck him on here and there and he might notch the odd goal but don't see him doing much for us.

Body’s broken, I don’t see it happening for him. Not even sure if it is his attitude that’s the problem (although it probably is a big factor). He’s talented though, no doubt.

Are you privy to his medical documents?

He was fit enough to come off the bench against Airdrie

Lets not wright him off too quickly.

Warnock

I’m privy to his injury record over the past few years m8 Laugh

Very sceptical that he will ever be fit enough to produce at a high level again. His performances since signing and a bench appearance won’t change my mind.
