I'm so old. I remember when he left Hearts, he said he would return here before he would retire. He's being true to his word in that sense. Lennon would still be extremely keen to have him as back up on 20k a week to ensure 9 and 10 in a row.

He certainly deserves credit for turning it around. My gut says he’s not what we need right now. In one sense he’d improve us, but in another he massively wouldn’t.

If he was willing to come in on a wage which meant if it didn’t work out we could afford to bring in another then maybe. Although I feel like if it wasn’t from a nostalgic point of view, no one would be interested in us bringing in a 37 year old, 3rd choice keeper from Celtic. I think there’s better options out there.

Until the end of the season maybe, but Gordon's best days are long past.

I really don't rate Pereira and this apparent upturn in form as more to do with the defence playing better as a whole than Pereira making any key saves. That said, I don't think Gordon is enough of an upgrade to be worthwhile.

This is one of those ones where I'm just totally indifferent. If we got him on a short-term deal and lowish wage... fine?

He's better than what we have but he's 3-4 years past his sell by date.

Would rather we saved the wages, plod on with the Man U hologram until May, before signing a German Wonderkid for next season.

Bunch of auld cunts Monty Ooh

I have a soft spot for Gordon - as a keeper, he was my favourite player growing up. I wouldn't mind him finishing his career at Hearts and getting into coaching with us. From experience, that rarely goes well. Don Cowie and Aaron Hughes were maybe positive but even then I'm not sure.

Would rather we saved the wage tbh. Pereira has improved under stendel and suits the style we will play. Don't see any point in wasting £3k/£4k a week on Gordon.

Watching Stendel’s interview it didn’t look like he was too interested in Gordon, said he’s not even thinking about goalkeepers

Celtic apparently can’t let Craig Gordon go as he’s needed

2 days later he’s not even on the bench  Monty Ha

Goalkeeping area is the one which could yet have a profound impact on our season. The 3 we have are all fucking atrocious.  Zlamal may just about be the least worst of a terrible assortment

That second goal yesterday is unacceptable.  Second goal at Accies was abysmal too

Mitchell and now this joker show the likes of Man U can produce mediocrity too. Smith-Brown illustrated the other side of the city can do likewise

As if those cunts would ever do anything that would help us?

They’d rather help their rhat cousins than dare to anything that would help us.

3 keepers is normal, if Forster was to get injured or suspended then they'd have 1 keeper if they let Gordon go, it makes sense why they wanted to keep him tbh.

Really isn’t a big conspiracy.

I hope they can repay Gordon with a bit of respect by letting him go though.
