Helped by the fact Falkirk did not have a single effort on target Heh

I think that one's a case of just getting to the next round, awful conditions out there.

Positives: Clare's penalty was pretty much the perfect penalty, Walker looked decent when he came on and is probably worth a start in the next match.

Dikamona and Garuccio though FuckMe

Did we? Eek (apart from pen)

Hearts manager Daniel Stendel tells BBC Scotland: “Our game was like the weather, not really great, but it was just important we got into the next round, it’s very positive for us.
“Falkirk invested a lot of things in the second-half but we let them come back into the game. We controlled the game but made some easy mistakes.
“Today we had a little bit of luck. When I saw the last game [against Kilmarnock] it was exactly the opposite. We’re happy.”

I thought we were quite composed on the ball and played a more ‘professional’ game so quite happy with it when you look back at some of the naivety over the past few weeks.

Play the 3 of them together in the Hamilton, St Mirren, next round of this, Motherwell, Livingston and Ross County games and see what happens.

I'd agree with all that Sound

In all seriousness, the weather made the game a farce and, on another day, we could easily have fucked that one up. Credit to the players for keeping the heid.

Henderson's miss was a shocker and we were extremely lucky with the woodwork. The hologram continues to inspire zero confidence despite the clean sheet. His positioning is awful. That shot from out wide that hit the post. He's at full stretch and still absolutely nowhere near it.

Positives: Another good show from Clare. Walker is definitely knocking on the door for a start. We are in the quarters.

So much more solid with a shree. Smit can carry it out as well. Irvine, tried the hard stuff when it should be simple. Nothing really came off final third, the wind absolutely ruined it. We are too powderpuff in the middle of the park at times and it puts extra pressure on the back 4

I'd go 3-5-2 rather than 3-4-3

Naismith and Boyce up top with Walker in the hole.

Rather than the front three that Stendel prefers.

I didn’t see a lot of last nights game but that’s St. Johnston, Killie and Falkirk players taking pot shots from anywhere knowing there’s a good chance that Arnold J Rimmer bastard willnae get to it.

Falkirk's flaw was that they weren't taking pot-shots Laugh the only shot that was remotely speculative was the one that hit the bar from about 20 yards out.

That’s the one I saw Warnock

The one that hit the bottom right post was fairly speculative
