Eek

My biggest concern about him so far is he doesn't seem to have a clue how to change things if it isn't working.

Killie played a very simple game of keeping it compact with men behind the ball and then breaking to exploit the huge spaces that we leave. He had absolutely no answer to it.

Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with the players at his disposal but it was the wrong team selection and poor in game tactics.

It was painfully obvious we had to get the ball wide to stretch Killie. They genuinely had 3 boys marking Boyce and we were still trying to clip it into him all game.

Yeah, I get you practice it all week in training, but if it's not working you need to mix it at some stage.

To be fair a competent goal keeper and we aren’t shree down. His choice not to change the keeper after Saturday though.

Teams are getting in behind us at will, we get relegated playing this style.

Do the basics properly and feed Boyce at every opportunity because he will score goals and we stay up. Simple.

1 ball over the top and the other team being clean through on goal would suggest that the old 'gegenpress' is not working. How many times in the last two games have we seen that man.

Said after the Airdrie game there were danger signs from a big hoof up the park but he seems to be one of those philosophy cunts that won't change so they better start making it work soon.

Nah. This wasn't just about the keeper today. We were schooled by a savvy Kiliie. Have to own that.

I don't think Souttar and Halkett are going to cut it if we insist on playing like this. We need more in the Sibbick mould.

I like Souttar but if the manager is only going to play one way then we need the right players. Halkett can get to fuck regardless.

We are now scoring the goals that should comfortably see us retain SPL status.

2 v Rangers
3 v St Johnstone
2 v Kilmarnock

However we are leaking them even worse than before at the other end. The goalkeeping situation is a fiasco as none of them are good enough. I'd like him to have Sievers on the blower to German clubs looking for a free agent, cancel their current contract if not involved, whatever is required to get someone in before the Celtic game. A Rousset type signing would be perfect.

He also needs to alter the central defence pairing and will need to decide about the right back situation. Clearly Clare needs to be in the team so does he use Smith at right back and move Clare forward or bring Smith into midfield to strengthen that. For me one of Smith/Sibbick at the back and one in midfield. I'd also be starting Washington who at this stage offers fair more than any of the younger lads. If everyone is fit I think I'd go:

         New Keeper

Clare Sibbick Souttar Hickey

       Clare Smith Langer

      Nasimth  Washington

             Boyce

We only got away with it because Defoe should be in a wheelchair, he made Halkett look like Usain bolt.

The ball over the top is not difficult to defend. We are making it look impossible to defend through sheer incompetence.

The high press is leaving us way too vulnerable to simple balls over the top.

He needs to modify it for the players we have or we are in deep shit.

None of the cunts in our back four can defend Warnock

You can still press and keep shape at the back. It doesn't have to be as extreme as we are doing it. 6 goals to Killie and St Johnstone is shocking.

We weren't even really pressing effectively tbh.

The talk about styles of play and 'pressing' is really getting on my tits tbh. Fuck your styles just defend properly and don't push away up to fuck leaving half the pitch for strikers to simply run on behind and get balls in the box for Boycey to go and score.

Cunts thinking they're guardiola when we're rooted to the bottom of the Scottish premiership.

It's all very well saying there's no plan B but when the keeper sells the jerseys for at least two goals then you're kind of fucked and the game is over.

Two down at half time and then you start the second half with the keeper letting another one through him and suddenly its 3-0. At that point plans A through Z go completely out the window. Whatever we planned to do second half was totally fucked the second the goalie made a cunt of the third goal.

You'd think with the kamikaze spaces we were leaving at the back that we were at least pressing well. Naismith looked clueless.

For me, Souttar isn’t ever going on to greater things. Halkett looks about a stone overweight.

It was a good laugh, wasn’t it?

Would seriously consider playing Smith centre half when he’s fit. He looks like the only option we have at centre half who is capable of actually reading a game.
