Bring in a keeper that is at least competent and stiffen up the defence. Going forward we are now scoring the goals to comfortably get us above both St Mirren and Hamilton which is the only real aim in the league. Play the defenders that give us a presence; Sibbick and Dikamona at the back and Smith into the central midfield area. Felt sorry for Langer tonight as he did several things well and hope he starts on Saturday again. Forget playing all 3 youngsters for the time being.

I think the goalie is a major problem tbh, he’s not confident enough or competent enough to read the dangers with those balls over the top.

The lack of width when we get forward is a bigger concern for me in all honesty, Moore and Hendo clearly were told to drive inside all the time rather than get wide and make themselves available.

You can talk about how Killie “schooled us” tonight, but when practically every second touch was to try and bring the ball under control tonight, that’s where the issue is.

That, and a goalkeeper who comes out when he shouldn’t and stands on his line when he should come.

Zlamal

Smith - Souttar - Sibbick - Hickey

Clare - Irvine - Langer

Naismith - Washington

Boyce

I think this is about the best we can manage until the end of the season. Sibbick needs to drop back as two sloths in defence doesn't work. We really are missing Hickey as White is the most meh cunt you'll ever see and Clare hopefully has the confidence to impact further up the pitch now as we need Smith to steady the ship at the back.

Stendel needs to start focusing on wins over philsophy because that's 1 in 8 league wins here and something daft like 10 without a win at Barnsley.

White does a job at LB imo, not really a big deal, Hickey is hardly a marauding full back who's whipping in crosses left, right and centre either.

We were drilling the ball at each other. Take a bit of pace off the pass or play side to side. Trying to fire the ball into Boyce and Henderson at 100mph with cloggers up their arse.  Monty Ha Then trying it with Uche  Warnock

White was brutal tonight. Soft, slow and ever time he goes forward it's just a pointless run that ends in nothing. He doesn't link up well with anyone and contributes basically fuck all.

White is a weird one to go for today. Thought he was unspectacular while doing a job as 2nd choice LB.

Thinking back, how many times has Smit made last-ditch covering challenges/blocks this season? He's the only defender we have who (a) can defend, (b) has some pace, and © can read a game well. We need him in the back line.

I think Clare is one of those players that needs the ball in front of him, and the only place where you can regularly guarantee that for a right footed player, is the RB/WB position. Unfortunately Smith is probably the best option for that position, although I did like his CB performances earlier in the season/ Maybe just need to find him the right partner; it obviously wasn't Berra, and with Halkett they make a small, likely bullied partnership.

White is gash but he's just one of these wee shite full backs that can do a job if the rest of the team is playing well, he's never going to do anything particularly good.

This is very much along my line of thinking in terms of personnel though I would still be trying to bring in a keeper. They must have contacts in Germany that could potentially get someone. There is no way that Smith, Hickey and Washington shouldn't be in to that starting lineup from today .

Tommy Wright identified White as a weak link on Sat and had him targeted 2nd half especially, though he never looked comfortable in the first half either. LB/LWB is a position we need to long-term fix in the summer. I'd get Henderson playing there as he sure ain't a forward, as I said previously. Monty Oh Well

Bit worried about Stendel. Quickly found out by Tommy Wright and again tonight. First 20 mins we were good, some lovely football getting played but then Killie got on top of us and that was that. He has to sort the defence out. Start by getting shot of that silly cunt in goals. Get Zlamal in and tell him not to leave his line. Souttar and Halkett were awful tonight. I think we need Smith in beside Souttar. Midfield get Irving out of there. Not a fan of his. Start Washington as well!

Still a hell of a lot of work to be done in the summer. Hope Stendel is up to it!!

That would work with Sibbick into midfield. Whatever happens both should be in the team ahead of Halkett who simply does not defend well enough. I'd also consider playing both White and Hickey as we have no balance going down that side. Let Hickey play further forward where his natural left foot can assist us. My team for the Hamilton home game:

              New Keeper

   Clare  Smith  Souttar  White

         Sibbick  Langer   Hickey

        Naismith     Washington

                  Boyce

Jesus, don't put Henderson in any position which requires any sort of upper body strength.
