Haring’s age isn’t particularly relevant though. He’s not lost his mobility through age, he’s lost it through serious injuries so the reality is his body is in worse nick than players 3-4 years older than him.

Can see why he wants as long a deal as he can gets but realistically he’s not going to be batting away long term offers from anywhere else. Offer him two years at most, ideally one year with the option of a second and see what he wants to do.
