This is only beneficial to Hearts if we managed to sneak in a clause where St Mirren have the obligation to keep him.

I guess I'm more in line with what Dred said, in that I find this kind of annoying but probably not even top 10 infuriating things we've done over the past couple of years. I agree with this, the terrifying thing is I've forgotten more of these things than I can remember. It's just another one to add to the ever growing list of shambolic incidents at the club these days. For me it's just the epitome of Budge era Hearts - no one wants to help us when we need it but as soon as someone else needs help we're quick as a flash there to do our bit. Even more galling when it's to give a hand to a club that were determined to shaft us the second the league was stopped. We just seem incapable of rallying and uniting the fans at the moment. Every time you think we've turned it round the club slaps the supporters in the face.

Would have been nice if we'd told them to fuck off but it's not like giving them Bobby for a couple of games is doing them much of a favour.

Why moan about anything really? Doesn't matter what it is, it will always be justified and deemed not really that important. Could get relegated next season and it would continue.

We've just been relegated with the highest wage bill of any club in the history of scottish football. Fans should be turning their ire on those within the club who are undoubtedly culpable. Instead there is a feeling of being shafted by other clubs and that allows Budge in particular to get away with incredible mismanagement. It's clear that the major fans forum is in the pocket of the club with an dissenting voices silenced. FoH Board members are clearly just doing whenever Budge wants them to do. It's a completely unsatisfactory situation for a club that should by this stage be far and away the 3rd club in this country by every conceivable metric. Budge has contempt for the Hearts support at large. The fact she continues to get away with it is the real crime.

Four Annan players test positive. This is going to be impossible to manage in leagues with part-time teams

Was speaking to a doctor and they seem convinced that November is going to see a significant spike which could see major lockdown in all sectors again never mind football. I just can't see how lower league teams aren't going to have significant issues once they start trying to travel and play games all over the country with guys who work other jobs etc. Just seems highly improbable that it's going to work.

It does look extremely hard for part-time clubs to do this tbh. There is just no way they'll be able to field teams at times.

How irresponsible is that
A microcosm of why we'll never get over this fucking virus: "I was aware of the dangers, but it put me at a mild inconvenience so I completely ignored them". |
