He went from Tom Ince to To Mince Naijoy

You get players where there seems to be a big clamour to hype them up and pretend they are the next best thing despite them being fairly average, he was definitely one of them, Januzaj is another just off the top of my head.

Adel Taarabt is probably the last EPL one that I can remember thinking wow he was world class when in actual fact he was just decent.

Taarabt was fucking quality and had unreal ability, he obviously just didn't have the workrate or fitness to match.

He played upfront for the team that won the World Cup. It’s not that much of a leap

Guivarch played for them as well though so you may have a point

Mind the guy Alberto Aquilani Liverpool signed from Roma, was meant to be shit hot but was just shit.

Another one who comes to mind was Kezman who sighed for Chelsea.

Aye Aquilani was some flop like, just one of those that was never going to suit English football in hindsight.

Kezman had an insane record in Holland but there's been a few players with mad goal tallies in that league that have flopped in England or elsewhere.

I may have misread the brief here if we're including guys like Adrian "Fiorentina's Greatest Ever XI" Mutu and Christophe "World, Euros and La Liga winner" Dugarry alongside my shout of Derek Holmes. Lampoon

Anderton always struck me as a poundland version of a good football player.

Tony Yeboah. Don’t think his scoring record was stellar but the ones he did score seemed to all be screamers.

Mind thinking Savo Milosovic and Matt Le Tissier were amazing too, as well as Kevin Thomas with us Warnock
