As the titles states, non-Hearts matches you've been to abroad + pics of the grounds.

PSG v Toulouse in 2005, 0-0 draw at the Parc de Princes

Busan I'Park v Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2013, 1-3 at the Busan Asiad Stadium, could not have been much more than 5000 fans in a stadium that holds 54,000 Crowe

[Image: BusanAsiadStadium.jpg] - not the game but that's the ground, one of the stadiums built for the 2002 World Cup

Avispa Fukoka - various games in 2014, Level 5 Stadium Fukuoka, decent ground, summer football with a cold Asahi in hand, not too shabby Tony Hmm

Juanma's current club. Heh

[Image: fukuoka-fukuoka-hakatanomori-stadium-201798.jpg]

Roasso Kumamoto v. some shite - Japanese league 2 match in 2016 at Suizenji Park, the worst standard I've ever paid money to see Zlat the other mob won 3-2.

pictured - ???, the mascot for Kumamoto Castle, a guy dressed as Kato Kiyomasa (samurai who built the castle), the team mascot Roasso-kun and the city mascot Kumamon (one of the most popular mascots in Japan)

Roma vs inter. Was class. First time I’d seen VAR and I thought it was going to great because it worked so well. Ref missed a handball, checked the screen, penalty awarded within a minute Warnock

Was right next to the inter fans. They were superb.

Mallorca v Valencia. 2-0. The crowd was fucking shit. There was a guy along from us wearing a la Coruna shirt. Wiggo
[Image: zPKGxcxl.jpg]

Boca Juniors v Racing. 4-2. Never seen a support like it. Sang and bounced about for the full 90 minutes. Even when Racing scored.

River Plate v Boca Juniors. 2-4. Unbelievable. Needs to be seen to be believed.

I've only ever been to one football match abroad and that was watching us get reamed off Dinamo Zagreb.

Sochaux vs Lyon - saw Sochaux beat a decent Lyon side in 2011 Quite Good

FC Pontarlier vs Amiens/Strasbourg (separate games, think both were late 2011 but one might've been early 2012) - my local amateur side went on a cup run, knocking out Amiens, which was a big scalp for them (Amiens were in Ligue 2 at the time while Pontarlier were in the regional leagues). Strasbourg in the next round sounds like a glamour tie, but kind of was and wasn't as this was after Strasbourg went into admin and got punted down the leagues. Think they might've been further down the pyramid than Amiens at the time, but knocked Pontarlier out.

Also went to see Milan at the San Siro in 2006. Was a midweek game, can't remember who they were playing but they won 1-0 with a goal (I think) from Inzaghi. Always meant to get to a Marseille game when I was in Aix/Toulon but didn't get around to it, which I regret now.

Borussia Dortmund v Schalke. Huge derby over there and it was some experience to be fair, probably ruined a bit by the fact I was out my nut the whole time and split my head open the night before FuckMe

Others will have been Scotland games, best one probably a 2-2 draw with Poland a few year ago...the common theme being barely remembering any games abroad down to the football getting in the way of the bevvy and whatever else Monty Oh Well

Been to a few in the last few years.

Levante v Villareal. Shite atmosphere, everyone got one of those clapper things to make a noise Laugh

Roma v Brescia. Unreal stadium but half empty. Was right beside the Curva Sud. Pinilla

[Image: AS_Roma_fans_at_Stadio_Olimpico_during_Roma-Inter.jpg]

St Pauli v Dynamo Dresden. 0-0 but class atmosphere. Scraps at the end. jjay

Most unique was probably Columbus Crew in the MLS. Can't mind the opposition tbh, was in 2007.

Bayern Munich 4-1 Hertha Berlin. Bayern got the European cup final that season and lost to Chelsea before winning it the following year. A shit hot side. St Pauli fans are cunts.

1860 Munich 0-2 St Pauli. The St Pauli fans are cunts.

Barcelona 0-2 Deportivo. Was buzzing to sea Ronaldinho and he had a stinker. Deportivo had a decent side with Luque, Fran, Diego Tristan, Valeron and Molina.

Barcelona 2-0 Getafe. Barcelona won the European cup that year and were incredible. 2-0 going on about seven or eight. Peak Barcelona under Guardiola, another shit hot side.

Only games I've been to outside of the UK. Been to see a fair few games down south.

The hotels in Buenos Aires are cheap. Can get a good 4* hotel for peanuts. The biggest expense was the flights. I'm sure I got return flights for about £600. Well worth going. Argentine fitba fans are fucking nuts. Do it.

Btw that photo was about an hour before ko. Warnock

Bought them on Viagogo. Then had to meet the guy in a hotel round the corner who then drove us to la Bombonera. All very straight forward. The following week I had to meet the same guy in a coffee shop near la Monumental. Loads of Europeans were in there for the same thing. Again it was all straight forward. Difference for the River Plate game was I had to make my own way to and from the stadium.
