I’m sure there’s a thread but can’t find it.

In the market for a new one and don’t know where to start. Any recommendations? Budget about £500.

I just bought one of they Philips ambilight ones, backlight makes a big difference when watching films.

Would defo recommend, the 50 seems huge glad I didn’t go for the 55 in the end.

This is the one I picked up last November. Really impressed with it and the 55inch doesn’t look too big either.

Would definitely recommend as the picture quality is Pinilla

This is probably a daft question but does the curve make a noticeable difference? Never known anyone to have one so not seen one myself so curious to hear what effect it has.

My parents have one, it looks better in the room if it’s in a corner but it doesn’t make any difference when you’re watching it.

I don’t think it would look that great against a flat wall.

Sorting my telly out next week, getting a new sofa which is going to go further away from the TV in my living room so going to need to upgrade ASAP.
