Keep Boyce and Washington, they'll get goals in that league.

The rest are either pish, on too much money for their input, leaving anyway or on loan.

A sad state of affairs.

What’s your definition of produced nothing?  Sure we’re not rolling out 10m pound players every season but our academy is providing us with players who are making decent contributions to the first team.

Irving, hickey, moore, Henderson, Cochrane off the top of my head have all come into the team and made a positive impact to the team and shown that they deserve more game time.  Brandon has been good at times too although feel like he gets hung out to dry a bit.  Tony Macdonald will likely play a part next season although we’ve never really seen much of him after he broke through first time round.  His first team performances were impressive though.

It’s just rubbish to suggest the academy isn’t producing players good enough to get into the first team, I think you need to lower your expectations if you think we’re going to be rattling out players that we can cash in on every season.  Even Celtic and rangers aren’t doing that

Admittedly I'm being pretty negative, I'll give you that, but at the same time you are seriously reaching about the standard of the players you've listed as having had much of an impact. Hickey apart and its arguable how much Hearts had to do with his development none of them have nailed down a place in what has been a dire period. What I will do is defend the fact that these young players have undoubtably been harmed by the absolute shitshow they've been involved with and that is not on them. I would agree that those you have mentioned deserve the opportunity, especially in a Championship season to make their mark.

The reason that there is expectation surrounding our academy, expectation that has not come close to being met is that the entire ethos of the 5 year plan and shaping / rebuilding of the club was on the premise that the academy was vital and would set Hearts apart. I'm sure we can agree that has been yet another failure on the part of the running the club thus far.

I'd bin off any cunt that some dinosaur manager would pick over Cochrane.

Runs the show against Celtic at 16 but suddenly not good enough and sent off to eat bridies at Dunfermline Monty Chuckle

His attitude was getting slated at Dunfermline and apparently had 0 physique to compete and just got bullied.

I don’t think he was even playing from the bench every week. Big opportunity for him in the championship to prove he still has something to offer.

Scorched earth policy at this point.

Keep: Halkett, Dikamona, Hickey (if he doesn't go), Smith, Souttar, Clare, McDonald, Cochrane, Irving, Washington, Boyce.

That's more than i thought I'd keep tbf. We've got the beginnings of a decent squad if we bring in exclusively Scotch campaigners who have been there and done it.

Unbelievable to think that Levein wrote him off and signed dross like Damour rather than work on making him a better player.

Levein and Budge should be ashamed and banished from tynecastle, genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if corruption and backhanders to agents and contractors(JB contracts cough cough...)comes to light in the near future

Cochrane has a lot to do to make it like but if I think a good manager could get it out of him. The potential is clearly there.

Keep Smith, Hickey and goal virgin Boyce.

Take a blowtorch to Budgie, Levein, the wee German and the rest of them.

Brandon has a bit of dig.

Any youth product that kicks people is fine by me at this stage.

Too many people obsessed with punting our kids out the club early doors. Bothers me tbh

We'd have been absolutely no worse off keeping McHattie until Hickey came along, given the mess we made of replacing him Warnock

Brandon and Moore will be alright in the Championship.

Doubt it's Levein signing them because he'd be more inclined to bin them off and replace them with cunts from the Greek second division on shree year deals.

Was it Brandon or Randall that played in the 4-0 Celtic game? Always thought Brandon was one of this 19 year olds with a face like a 40 year old Monty Chuckle

Brandon started to look like he was finally making progress before he got injured again. More than happy for him to stay for another year, and I was one of the people slaughtering his performances last year.

He seems to enjoy elbowing cunts in the face a bit much. Mind Levein said it was his last warning for doing that kind of thing and then he came back and got a straight red Zlat

He's almost certainly going to have a career in the lower leagues but he'll do for next season. Otherwise you're just going out and signing more mediocre shite for probably more money. Is Scott his da Perro

They both started Crowe

Jamie Brandon, Conor Randall, Don Cowie, and Ross Callachan were in the starting line-up of side that gubbed Celtic 4-0. Zlat
