Purely the right decision or a sign of things to come? (Young team in the championship)

I think Moore will probably be decent in the championship. He will be on a low wage so no real problem giving him a couple of years.

I always liked Billy King   Monty Chuckle

I don't think he's as good as that tbh.

I'm no saying it's a bad decision (he's young and could improve) but i would like to know who made the decision.
Dikamona could easily do a job for us given regular game time, yet he just get's let go.

Pretty sure any half decent youth player is being offered terms to protect us in terms of compensation.

Budge has explicitly said this, so it’s not a question of “who made this decision here/we could have kept X player instead/etc”. I think Moore did enough in his appearances this year to warrant another chance, especially if we aren’t in the premier league.

Surely other teams would have to want to sign him before we were due compensation?
What's happening with Hickey?

Agree that he did just about enough to merit another year at least. If we are down it's an opportunity to give players like Moore, Morrison, Cochrane, or Irving a lot more game-time instead of shite journeymen like Bozanic, Damour, MacLean etc.

It's not a massive outlay and he played for us last season, so we get a player and protect the investment.

It's unlikely we'll make a fortune off him, but there's a strong business case for keeping him.

Yeah, i get you.
What do you think about the great job that Levein has done with the academy?
Have we got a good few talented players on the way up?

Can't say he ever impressed me, but could do a job in the Championship I suppose. Brandon actually looked like he was coming on to a wee bit of a game before he got injured(?).

Euan Henderson seems to have a bit more about him than Moore, so hopefully he will thrive.

These guys should all get the year in the Championship to show what they can do. Moore has had some good games and bad games, but overall deserves the shot. Particularly with his dad dying while trying to make the grade.

Moore, Henderson, Brandon etc are all Championship squad players at best.

Brandon was a nightmare early on but he had a couple of man of the match performances (imo) late on in the season (purely because of his effort)
I just wish we knew what league we're going to be playing in and who is our manager, and less of Ann Budge in the spotlight.
