This is exactly where I’m at with it all. Does anyone think for a minute it was anyone other than Levein identifying guys like Kenny Anderson & Perry Kitchen?
I’m 99% certain that right at the beginning of the Budge era it was confirmed that Levein would be identifying and signing players and that Neilson was there as a Head Coach.
I’ll be keen to see if the roles now differ and it’s Neilson identifying what/who he wants and needs and the DOF going forth and dealing with it rather than him having players foisted on him, which I believe was the case some, if not, all of the time.
Like others, I’m a bit meh about the appointment, but I’m willing to give him a chance to show what he can do without Levein instructing him from the stands or Riccarton.
