We had to give Cheltic 30% of the fee due to their sell on clause.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he had absolutely no help from Mctominay Warnock

Went forward well for that wee 15/20 minute spell where we actually tried a couple of attacks

Any serious suitors won't give a fuck about a silly international game. 80 games under his belt at 19, almost 50 of them in Serie A. He'll be fine.

This isn't the 90s, Socko. Serie A is a backwater league.

Aye he was completely hung out to dry by McTominay, even at the 2nd goal McTominay dropped the number 9 to mark nobody.

Think he’s been let down by Clarke not calling him up and using him sooner tbh.

He also wasn't playing in his natural position.

Not a great game though unfortunately.

McTominay had a nightmare leaving him exposed for most of the game.

Harsh to judge him based on one game.

Clarke at fault there as had opportunities to give him a run out then chooses last nights game.

Were they about mid table last season?

Good move for him, was similar to what Andy robbo did going to hull.

Must admit I am surprised.  Didn't think he had the pure speed to operate at that level.  We'll see.  Still, some cash for the Hearts.

Premier league will improve him as a player.

Has all the technical ability a full back needs and more but lacks intent and aggression, he’ll have to pick that up in England.

I didn’t think he was going to go on and play EPL fitba myself. Fair play to him certainly proved me wrong, I’d like to see him develop as a RB and get him in the scotch set up more.

Patterson I like but I’m not a fan of ralston for Scotland and think Patterson/hickey would be good options.

After watching him in the Scotland games i think Brentford is good for his development. No point going to one of the top teams as a sub

Decent move for him, sounds as if Bologna have their eyes on Doig as his replacement as well.

Good move that. A sensible move.
