Into these fucking cunts Fist of Gorgie

Forget about that game, it won't be anything like that performance. They've just drew with Ross County and narrowly beat Forfar and Cove Rangers. They're shite.

Wighton to start and be the hero.

Worth looking at the state of that team that put shree past them last year, this isn’t much worse.

Think we could do with an extra body in midfield for this one. Halliday, Haring and one other (not Lee) with a front three made up from Ginnelly, Boyce, Wighton, Walker, Naismith and Roberts depending on availability.

I'd be tempted to start Irving and Haring for this one. Halliday was miles off it last night which is understandable as he's had an injury and no pre season.

Irving will do well with time on the ball on a big pitch.

Agreed Halliday was shocking last night. Could do with his nous in there in a derby though.

Aye he should hopefully rise to the occasion and will have another weeks training in him I suppose. Lee can't be anywhere near it. Total passenger.

I don’t think the centre of their midfield is their strongest area, so we might get away with Irving and haring and maybe cochrane. Lee needs to be so far the fuck away from it.

Need Kingsley to do a job on Boyle

Lee and Irving are very slow players and well off derby pace but Halliday and Haring aren’t fully fit.

Across the board we need a huge improvement in performance levels to stand a chance.

I’ll settle for Boyle picking up a wee knee injury on Kilmarnock’s plastic pitch today, failing that, him being nailed early doors will help

Hibs only play 2 in the middle and they're both chronically slow.

Get Cochrane in the middle of the park. Someone with a bit of composure and can look to make a pass. Huge open spaces at Hampden to exploit, give him a chance.

I've not paid attention to any Scottish football this season outwith Hearts and haven't watched a second of anyone that isn't us either. I was aware Hibs were near the top end and see they've won again today.

Decided to have a look at their games so far to see what we're up against next weekend and they haven't half scraped by. Played 15 games (league and cup) and only lost twice, which sounds impressive but for all the games they've won (10) they've only won three of them by more than a single goal - Brora, Livingston and St Mirren. Scraping by against Hamilton after Hamilton missed a penalty, last minute penalty winner against St Johnstone, late winner away at Forfar.

They might look the part of paper but they are definitely not as good as what they're made out to be. Yeah, some would argue it's the sign of a good side that can grind out wins but they don't seem to be blowing teams away or anything like that and appear to have rode their luck a fair bit. Yet again today they've got a penalty from Dikamona making a cunt of it. We need to take the game to them next week. They're there for the taking.
