White was good in the Arbroath game as well when he came on, a decent option wide left. Not something I thought I’d be saying given his past form :Laugh

White looked terrible in the first half of extra time Warnock

Getting Haring and Naismith on early in the 2nd half worked brilliantly.

I think maybe white is just one of those footballers that looks quite clumsy at all times. I think he’s a decent squad player to have, and will be especially useful throughout the championship

Putting two defenders on the left hand side ended up cancelling out Boyle. Kingsley wasn't getting close enough to him for most of the game, so that least shored that up.

Can't really fault him at this point - I think that game at Ross County had a massive impact on his first stint. Levein probably hauled him into his office and told him to do anti football pish.

Rossi was suspended after getting sent off at Hamilton the week before so we had to play McGhee at left-back. Then when Ozturk got injured he brought on Oshaniwa and moved McGhee to centre-back next to Augustýn.

Buaben went off injured after 10 minutes for Cowie and Djoum was subbed off for Walker after they made it 2-1.

There's no excusing the shite performance in the second half (or the replay), but I think it's a bit of a myth that we were chucking on defenders at 2-0 or whatever. The defence that finished the game was a bit of a disaster really and we'd have seen it out with Ozturk and Rossi playing instead of McGhee and Oshaniwa.

He's redeemed himself now anyway. Sound

Happy with Neilson today but I will be slaughtering him when we have a bad result because I'm an angry, reactionary little man  Tony Can't Hear You

He’s undone a lot of the damage of his first spell last night. There is no denying that he shat it against Hibs more than once previously, but that was pure bottle. We all hoped it was Levein’s influence that led to those cowardly performances before, but the improvement in derby results after Levein took over didn’t really bear that out.

Feel like a goat ma club back Sob

Amazing what can be done with the squad when the shadow of Levein isn't lurking along the corridor...
