I suppose either on loan until the end of the season would be worth a punt.

Not so keen on Stockley but would probably be a reasonable option at Championship level for those away games where it's sometimes difficult to break down the opposition.

That’s a real shame, just checked and he retired at 30, I couldn’t understand at the time why hearts never kept him for at least another year, remember him having a shocker at Easter road when we were beaten but apart from that he ticked all the Levein boxes for a striker

He has three siblings who are footballers Levein Chin

What a career he had though, blasting Hertz to a championship trophy and scunnering the huns on the last day. Piggy

You have to wonder how far he could have gone in the game if he could have managed the weight/depression issues.

12 goals in 15 games is an absurdly good scoring ratio for someone who was a good three stone overweight at the time.

I remember him being really highly rated as a teenager, or at least he was an FM wonderkid around 2008ish. Might have had an impact being hyped up so young.

Noticed Skinny is at the Vancouver White Caps on loan with the option to buy.

I would take him back in time for next season starting. Dont think Hull would be difficult to deal with.

A player that didnt shite it in the big games. Exactly what we need. And a player that would love to be back.

The obsession with former players by the hearts support is quite something Warnock

It's not that ridiculous to want to re-sign a player who had a successful loan spell with us tbf.

Saying that, I'd take Suso back in a heartbeat too because I love the wee cunt jjay

He was very good first time round and isnt out of our range and would 100% improve us. Hes the only ex Hearts player ive advocated to come back to us.

There is a few I’d take back and Skinny is certainly up there, knows the club fast, direct and would skoosh the league

On potential new signings, bit worried that Moult might be one of those 'take a gamble' signings due to his injury record. He obviously has a very impressive record at this level, so wouldn't be against a loan with a view to a deal in summer, if he proves his fitness.

That said it's probably just a JKB rumour anyway, don't know if there's substance, apart from Savage coming from Preston and Moult being far down the pecking order there.

I don’t think we’re in any position to take on any more permacrocks tbh. You can take these risks when your team isn’t already full of them

It's not difficult. Sign players who are proven at this level (whether they are ex-Hearts or not) and don't sign players who are a gamble due to their quality or injury issues.

I get that it isn't as easy as picking up Aussie Sunday league players, or taking a gamble on someone who will get injured straight away but every other club in Scotland does it, so we should as well.
