Wrote this on Big Joe Savage as bored this morning without footie to look forward to. Spoke to a Preston fan about him, although he wasn't overly keen on him.  Zlat  Think that might be down to their 'unique' structure though. Said Savage played the role of chief scout and Ridsdale and his advisor did more of the recruitment side of things.

Enjoyed that again. Sound

A very easy read and a good writing style, gives good insight into where we’re currently at and what we as fans expect/hope will happen next with Savage and McKinlay.

Nice reference to John Murray and his death grip on a role within the club too. Laugh

Jobby has turned into Don Cowie all of a sudden. Runs about not touching the ball.

Has that big stiff idiot left yet? I'll bundle him in the back of the van and drive him down to Rushden and diamonds myself.

Agreed Gnando is pish and he can get in Shteve's van, makes a change from it being a kiddie, but I like the cut of Savage's jib. He gets it

If you look at Nando's numbers down south, it was a promising signing on the face of it. Can't really do much if a player decides he just can't be arsed.
