I think it's quite common for indian/ethnic food to make sauce out of batter. Not like they could just go down to Tescos.

Pink pakora sauce, i thought was made with a bit of mint, yoghurt (possibly ketchup :lookSmile and a few other spices depending on who is making it. Had it with a slight yellow colour (but similar taste) using turmeric as well.

The best sauce to use is the sauce from whatever main curry you're getting. Hate other sauces provided.

One of the curry places near me does portions of madras, masala, balti or korma sauce for about 2 quid each Wow

The absolute daddy option for your naan/poppadom or any of the deep fried filth.

Wouldn't order a Korma but quite like one for dipping naan if someone else gets it.

Would recommend the Clay Oven Bakery big garlic naans you can get from Tesco and Morrisons if you're a man who likes dipping a doughy na[a]n every now and again.

If anywhere in Edinburgh does cheap portions of masala sauce I'd be all over that. Piggy
