She's torn the heart out of the community.

I firmly believe Spencer when he says Budge might be the biggest egomaniac we've seen as owner. You can just tell by the condescending, sneering tone of her statements. She thinks she's better than the fans, and any fans that have a complaint are wrong and she's right.

I'm glad the media are starting to pay more attention to her because she has always been the problem. Until she leaves we'll continue to be this sort of bottom six/relegation scrapping side that has to rebuild squads every window whilst mediocrity is accepted and little more than lipservice is paid to 'high expectations'.

Robbie should never have came back and he should have been sacked weeks ago. This is because he is not good enough to be Hearts manager - fact, end of discussion.

I emailed them yesterday before their statement and explained why I was cancelling and asked if the Foundation agreed with the direction the club is taking and the way it’s communicated to the fans. Was assured I’d get a reply to each of my queries. Just received a generic reply I guess every one will get -

I wanted to write to acknowledge receipt of your email. Given the number of emails in my inbox at Foundation of Hearts, I am afraid I am unable to respond on the individual points you are making. In turn if you have written to me more than once my apologies, at Foundation of Hearts we are all volunteers and I'm afraid I have been unbale to find the time this week to answer all my messages given football events, personal, business and family commitments.

I do however want to reassure you that I have read your and every other email I have received, I have absorbed the feedback and completely understand the strength of feeling. I also want to reassure you that your nominated Director's participate fully in decisions of the club board and are given our voice in that setting. It's important that I say I will never reflect those conversations on email or on social or published media, that would be completely counter to the governance structure we have so carefully built.

If you asked for your pledge to be cancelled or suspended, I have copied Paul who will action that for you. If you have asked for your pledge to be 'withheld' I am afraid we are unable to do that under the terms of the legally binding Bidco agreement. As your Chairman I would also be unwilling to put the club in that position amidst a global pandemic when other income streams have been so seriously impacted.

Please be assured the board of Foundation of Hearts will always act in the long terms interest of the football club. Like you we are all fans, we experience the high and lows with you, we want to see the club back in the Premiership and are as disappointed as any other fan at the moment.

I am sorry this email is generic in nature; I hope you will understand the time pressures we are under. Foundation of Hearts exists to protect the long-term interests of the fans, to help ensure the financial stability of the football club and to bring the club into fan ownership this summer. This has been a challenging few weeks, but rest assured we remain focussed on those goals. I am incredibly grateful that you are part of our membership.

Yours sincerely

Am I right in saying they are refusing to communicate the things they are saying on the members behalf in board meetings Monty Ha

I don’t trust them at all now, it is doomed to fail the way it is being run just now.

Think they’re saying they’re not going to publicise the discussions rather than not raising them in the board meetings. I mean I’d be shocked if they really raised any concerns from fans but that’s not the way I’m reading that email.

If they don’t publicise them how are members meant to be confident in the stance they’re taking though?

I’m not one of these people who think absolutely every single thing needs to be run through the fans but surely at a time like this the members need to know exactly where the FOH stands beyond a copy and paste generic response.

Just saying “we share your frustrations it’s not good enough” is nowhere near enough because we’ve been hearing that for years and nothing is done about it.

Of course the dissenters may be able to force that from happening but it will be no thanks to the FOH lapdogs.

She’ll surely have another excuse this year to stay in charge and keep embezzling funds in to Gala bingo’s coffers

The dynamic changed with the way we were brought out of admin and the FOH. Those fans that choose to donate should already have assumed ownership of the club and continue to be treated poorly, by both the club and foundation. As do those that don't donate.

Expectations have, in my opinion, altered for factors off the park; use of funds and communication with fans particularly. They should be fundamentals of running a club well, even without fans taking ownership.

Ultimately though, its a football club - succeed on the pitch, entertain fans, give them a team and club to be proud of (that treats fans fairly) and those in charge will be loved. Feels like none of that is happening.

Budge slithering off into the background in the summer isnt enough for me. I want her completely gone. Otherwise she will be doing a Levein and still pulling the strings in the background.

In full agreement. Needs to be removed from any involvement in the club. I do worry at how she will have us in iron clad contracts that keep her coining in money.

I want her replacement to do a full enquiry on the stand debacle and every player she's brought into the club. Get her banned from football and destroy the public profile she's used the club to build for herself jjay

The reason for delaying the transfer of ownership when we more than have the money is an absolute piss take. Because we want the fans to be there to have a party???  Woy It was at that moment I decided I'd never put anything else into FoH. I had been an on and off contributor tbf. Was never fully convinced by them or the goal.

They've sat back and watched us go from 3rd in the SPFL to getting beat off Brora Rangers and Budge setting the club back years without saying a word.

Only way I'd get on board is if we had a competent, ambitious owner and the FoH came out and said they are a funding vehicle for the club to reach our goals rather than whatever this shit show is. Being controlled by Budge. The 'pledge for life' crowd are a dangerous breed. We survived. We technically don't need another penny from the FoH and at this point donations are support of Budge and being pissed up the wall. A big chuck was used to cover her brother fucking up the cost of the unfinished Main Stand. Scandelous. Some will come back and say well what about season tickets but going to a game and supporting your team are very different things from a monthly donation for no reason.

That’s why she will want to be involved in the club “in some capacity”.

Boot her out and hire a forensic accountant specialist to pour over the books

Interesting listening to Stevie Kilgour on Sportsound. He's putting pressure on FoH and Stuart Wallace to stand up now. Said the FoH statement was weak as pish yesterday. Looking to speak with Wallace over the weekend.

Budge doesn't listen. She doesn't care what we think. But its interesting listening to the Federeation spokesman saying change is needed now. Stuart Wallace is having pressure exerted upon him from Federation. Probably means very little but it's clear there is a unanimous belief across the support that change is necessary now.
