Put it this way, if he gets his move to Celtic he's desperate for I'm not in any way worried about that, I think in the end he wouldn't even get a game.

Haven't seen enough of Doig to compare him to Hickey fairly, but it does seem like he could be off to a bigger club for a higher fee 12 months down the line.
Anyway not really sure Hickey actually has anything to do with it - it's just further proof of horrendous mismanagement by Levein, Arnott and whoever else is involved in the decision making.
The frustrating thing is that Hibs are able to tie these guys to long term deals, while there is clearly something/someone at the club that means anyone with obvious talent lets their contract run down until we let them go for relative peanuts.
