Checked an Everton forum and, whilst they're obviously not disconsolate at losing him, they seem to rate him.
Fuck knows. We need a centre midfielder.

11 1st team appearances with no goals, since 2017 (wiki)
Must be a 3 year "Project"

Looks like a Buaben replacement.

This is one of the ones Randy Savage and Lancefield have to be judged on. Shree year deal is a big statement and we have to hope he's gotten it right.
Knowing us he'll most likely be utter shite or surprisingly dece but a sicknote

Rooney played with him at Everton and saw fit to bring him to Derby.
He obv thought he could make a big impression in the English championship. Didn't happen but would suggest he has ability at the right level.

I've gone all in, username change the lot, nothing ever goes wrong with this sort of thing

Dare I say that I actually support this recruitment strategy.
Let's see how this small group of players do up until end of August and we can always pull in a couple more before the window shuts. Pretty pleased we've secured a big name as a central midfielder. If Souttar and Ginnelly can keep off the unity table I'm feeling more and more confident

No point even trying to guess how this one will go. Looks like he's got ability but also couldn't get into a terrible Derby team and Dundee Utd and Tranmere were after him.
A new face in the door so happy with it

He's been at some decent clubs, that's about all you can say without having watched him for a reasonable amount of time.
0 goals always concerns me though, especially when it's another Paul Hartley i'm after. (probably a bad example, since he was shite before he came to us)

Quality is badly needed in the middle, McEneff already looks a bit of a dud so hopefully Beni is up to the task. Our record of developing/signing midfielders in recent years is shocking though.

It's not looking good for Savage Garden if he's a dud, he admitted that he'd been watching him for 4 years!

Obviously hope he does well, but I have serious reservations about the club's recruitment.
Reckon they could sign someone with genuine incredible pedigree and he'd end up shite.

We've signed 3 new recruitment staff and i get the feeling that we still look at the same sort of players.

Time will tell, i suppose.
