Bit confusing, apparently he's a midfielder that we've given the #9 jersey to.

Pisses all over Craig Wighton, to be fair

Trying my best not to get carried away by a youtube video though.
He's lost his way a bit and was absolute humpty at Blackpool, apparently. Playing for Blackpool must be pretty grim though.

These young players get farmed out constantly just hope he hits some form at us, the likes of Ryan Kent had a few loans and don't think he was great then landed at Rangers and started to show his potential so we'll see what happens. I think he'll be good.

Last two loans have been to Oxford who have an average attendance of about 7k and a shan stadium, and Blackpool during a pandemic.
He'll know this is his last chance to show what he can do, it feels like the perfect platform for him. Could be the main man here if it clicks.
See even if he doesn't work out I'm still glad we're going for guys like woodburn and Beni as these are players who at one point were considered good enough to get some games in the first team for PL clubs. It maybe hasn't worked out for them at these bigger clubs but that's not to say they can't kick on here.
Some of the worst signings we've made have been these random guys that come from English clubs u23 teams, never get a sniff of the first team go on to play in the pub leagues. If he goes on to have a stormer for us unfortunately Gerrard will probably be tapping him up for the huns.

Aye, it seems like we've finally got the recruitment department sorted out, after most of us moaning about it for the last 7 years, mind you.
We just need a better manager now, if we're to fulfill our potential and play some decent football. Although we showed againt Aberdeen was that we're not going to be a walkover, we were still pretty horrific up front, and that's something Neilson has been known for. Our only goal came from a penalty and it was probably a better result for Aberdeen, on the face of it.

Any chance we can get that Ryan Kent kid on loan as well. Two of them link up welll

The JKB boys think kent is shite.

Seems like a good signing we should be excited about, which is why I'm a bit worried as about they rarely seem to end well for us

Back in the Wales squad.
Watch him come back injured

What are everyone's thoughts so far?
Not been overly impressed myself. Clearly a talented boy but not much end product. Kind of reminds me of Tony Watt's spell with us where you could see he was skilful but nothing is really coming off. Also not seen it on the tv yet but thought he was very lucky to avoid a red card for lashing out.
10-24-2021, 08:26 AM
He's not been terrible or anything but you just expect more from him. If he can just get a goal that might spark him into life, doesn't look overly confident, probably quite tough when you were scoring for Liverpool and Wales at 16/17 and a few years later find yourself on loan in Scotland.

I likened him to Tony watt in the match thread, his time playing for us anyway. I think he's been fine, showed glimpses of good things but doesn't do enough really, probably time to bench him and give GMS a wee run from the start.
10-24-2021, 09:26 AM
He's been fine and contributed to the unbeaten run but it's clear he's not the player that burst on to the scene with Liverpool. Wouldn't be at Hearts if he was tbf. I feel like there's going to be a game where it clicks for him and he bangs in a few goals and goes on a run.
10-24-2021, 10:37 AM
Starting GMS is not the answer. I'd have rather have had Walker as an option yesterday.
Ginnelly to start on weds for me we have to have the option of going in behind with pace on a big park.
10-24-2021, 10:43 AM
Maybe worth trying Woodburn through the middle if Boyce is out and Gnando was as shite as he sounded yesterday?
10-24-2021, 10:46 AM
I'd probably give 21 a couple of games from the start if Boyce is out, even though I'm losing all hope in him he maybe deserves a couple of starts to either prove us wrong or cement the fact we must get rid and replace him in January.
