People seem to want to continue to contribute, which is entirely reasonable. But what does the FoH and by extension, the club, propose to do with ongoing monies.

Need to be clearer on this as it isn't clear at present. Pledge for life is their slogan. I think we would probably expect a bit more than the money simply going into the club to meet operating costs ongoing.

Mallon seems to recognise judging by his wee biography thing.

Bonus is he's not a lifelong Hearts fan just happy to have a free Hearts tie and get to speak to Queen Ann.

That's my take on his piece too.

No way on earth is he going to be in the yes man mould that Budge has seemingly coveted as the overwhelming credential up until now.

They need reveal what the intentions of the FoH are and how they hope to support the club in short, medium and longer term. I suppose its commendable that people want to continue to pledge. Judging by some of the comments on JKB it would seem many are happy to pledge and allow it to go wherever.  Mallon seems to recognise that's not anywhere near concise enough.

I hope he gets elected. Something very curious if he doesn't.

What’s the mechanism for getting elected again? Just a straight member vote?

Not sure if totally relevant to this thread but I'll say it anyway.

More than a third of the league has been played. We're 6 points off top. To a club that's just lost their entire management team.

And the league winners this year go straight into the Champions League proper, with no qualifiers. Guaranteeing £40m to £45m even if you get beat every game.

Quite sobering. Makes you wonder what we could do with an ambitious January window.

Did cross my mind that Jimmy Anderson could change the course of this club by chucking in a few million in January Sob

Anything less than winning the league would be a disappointment. One might say a failure.

Hopefully, Ann kens the score, Getting to the champions league would be a game-changer.

And yet we're sitting 3rd in the league, even more reason to stick a sneaky fiver on.
Best chance ever to win the league (other than the Burley season) so hopefully, we go all out in January to make it happen.

I think there's a better chance of sneaking it when both the Old Firm are in the league tbh. As long as one or both aren't absolutely rampant which they aren't.

If the rumours are true that the Rangers are 25 million in debt, there's no guarantee they'll get a decent manager in either.
That's probably partly why Gerrard left, no money for players.

It’s not a rumour Terence, it’s confirmed in their recent accounts and statements from the board.

Incredible the amount of money James Anderson has introduced. Would seem he has put in another c. £4.2M to FYE 30 June 2021. Takes his benevolence to £7.2M in last 2 years.

Would seem that club have entered into a consolidated loan arrangement with Ann Budge whereby the combined c. £3.1M she is due now accrues a "market interest rate" and will be subject to monthly repayments starting no later than November 2022 for a period of no longer than 24 months. Perhaps we'll see c. £130k of FoH monies each month set aside for repayment of Budge loan in the near future...

Generosity of James Anderson really is quite incredible though.
