It’s quite funny to wind folk up and say how good VAR is when it doesn’t effect your league Eek

Will be interesting to see where the money is coming from to fund that. Think I could live with it in cup semis and finals.

Nah fuck that. Scotch fitbaw is the one league you can gamble on and not worry about the dreaded goal disallowed notification.

At the Partick game some boy behind me was talking about bozanic and I genuinely shuddered Laugh

A dark time in our history that period.

I’d bring in goal line technology, but get VAR in the bin. Get To Woy

Being serious it would be shite if they brought that in here.

Not only would it take away from our status as 'proper fitbaw' but can you imagine how badly implemented it would be by the clowns up here if they can't even get it right down south.

I can't see Rangers and Celtic being too keen to compromise the ... benefit for the doubt ... they get from refs.

Not an objector to VAR in general but there’s no way we won’t make it a massive clusterfuck up here so no interest in introducing it into Scottish Football

At a push latter stages of cup competitions only

I like the idea of it because it would mean far less obvious mistakes with penalties and offsides would be missed, my concern is it doesn’t improve the referees who will be running VAR and we’ll be left with even more baffling decisions.

I'm not even convinced that it's fixed that many obvious mistakes since it was brought in. It's been used to fix really marginal decisions that could go either way to the naked eye, whilst taking about 10 minutes a time and still getting some of them wrong. I guess it has highlighted how grey and open to interpretation some of the rules are but it hasn't taken away any controversy and is annoying.

Goalline technology should be in long before this abject shit.

I think when you see the number of blatant offsides and penalties that are given/not given up here almost on a weekly basis then on paper it makes sense, the problem is always the referees in charge of VAR rather than VAR itself though and as long as the refs are shit then it won’t all be solved overnight.
