I’d rather pay that money to bring in foreign refs.

Keep it away from us. Should only be for the Sky Sports leagues.

Never thought I'd be this guy but I'd actually join a protest thing and burn hampden to the ground if folk were game for it rather than have var.

No surprise to see that wee rugby fanny wants VAR.

Whether you’re for or against the idea of VAR, it’s hard to argue it’s really made a huge positive difference in the state it’s in for football.

We’re in a good position to give it a miss until it’s at a point where it’s done well, properly ironed out and not as controversial.

As a compromise you could say have it in the Scottish cup but hopefully it’s kiboshed for the league.  It’s got the potential to drive more fans away than anything else which is something you need to take into consideration.

Edit:  also what’s a top tier game?  You either have it for all league games or all cup games, you can’t have some games in the same competition refereed drastically differently Warnock   We clearly can’t afford to do it properly as a league so shouldn’t even be a discussion until then.

Things like today with them letting the keeper come a yard off his line for the penalty is the kind of shit that lands you with var. It's the first thing I noticed just sitting watching it on the laptop so how can a lino or ref not see it and order a retake, it's very simple.

It was a shite penalty btw, that's not the point I'm making though.

I’d b astonished if VAR was implemented for anything other than Scottish Cup games at Hampden.

The standard of broadcast for non televised games is so small time, we’d end up having inconclusive VAR decisions. Warnock

Premier is considered the top tier

I'm all for VAR, it will show our piss poor refs right up.
How much is it going to cost though? we're already skint as fuck, Hearts, Aberdeen etc are already trying to create more money, while the governing body sit doing sweet fuckall picking up their massive pay cheques.

It's really sickening. Such a sad day when we end up with that pile of shit and we're all conditioned to think that every goal scored is about to be disallowed what a horrible empty experience.

Why celebrate goals once when you can do it twice when VAR confirms it? Pinilla

But that wouldn't be ruled out, Bates was wrong side and he did pull him by the shirt a bit before he went down. Not many teams would have been awarded the penalty in the first place but VAR wouldn't reverse it so it's still going to be the same arguments just with a lot more controversy and sickening blows.

Yeah I'm not liking how that rangers penalty is being put forward as the decision that makes var worthwhile. Var doesn't reverse that.

It sure as fuck would have gave gnanduiellet's handball on Wednesday though, cannons off his knee and brushes his hand, that's the kind of innocuous shitty wee game ruiners var is good for.

No it wouldn’t, not by the new rules this season.

Ah the new rules, there's always new rules and they are always applied or not applied whenever it suits. It clearly came off his arm and also Beni probably fouled the guy amongst that as well so the goal wouldn't have stood.
