Big game. A real indication as to how we are as a team if we can respond to last week's nonsense with a good win.

Hopefully see this cool customer at the game.

Not having a go and it's a minor point, but I'm sure almost every game so far has been prefaced with the 'this is a good indicator of where we are' chat. I'm not complaining or saying it's inaccurate or anything just wondering if we should just take it as read that every game is potentially a good indicator of where we are? Might save some time each week.

I fear this could be the start of the mid-season slump (if we're not already in it) if Boyce doesn't make this one.

Likely to have plenty of the ball but will be vulnerable to cheap set-piece goals. Beni's a great player in open play but he's got a bad habit of switching off at set plays. "Player of the season" Halkett deserves to be dropped but will probably start.

I can see this one being yet another draw. Monty Oh Well

0 0 draw.

Infact i'll go 1-1, our defenders are able to get the odd goal.

First game I’m attending of the second Drawbie era GodIsGod

Would absolutely love to see us go to a back 4 (Smith Souttar Moore Kingsley?) and look to start the game on the front foot but I can’t see it. What’s the value in a back 5 when we’re not actually that solid anyway?

It is a back three tbf, the wing backs go super high. Fucking shite at crossing though

I wonder if Ginnelly could be moulded in to a wing back.

They’re not adding any value then May Bee

Would rather they were just a back 4 and it let us have two genuine wingers who can actually cross the ball and an extra attacker playing close to Boyce.

I think this is where it starts getting a bit silly though. Our strongest players are natural wingers so maybe at home it would be fine to play the back 4 with 2 wide men playing in their natural positions?

It’s just a bit frustrating that even when we’re all over a team and can’t do much upfront we still don’t switch it up from the back 3. I’d like to see GMS-Woodburn-McKay with Boyce infront.

I’d like to see GMS released from the club.

We should persist with Ginnely, but everytime he has a bad game (because he’s being played out of position) we have the same characters going “he’s pish this season” etc..

Not convinced by our 2nd keeper either, if Gordon get's injured, we're in real bother.

Only one problem with your plan there, chief. Eek

Not sure the chat is necessary about chasing folk out the door at all I think we’ve got a good squad all things considered Laugh

There’s a few I wouldn’t be bothered to see leave and you always need to look to strengthen every position but GMS is one of the last players I’d be looking to get rid of Laugh Quite lucky to have that option off the bench he’s a very good player to bring on later into the game. We’ve not got much youth coming through in those positions and look at some of the genuine muck we’ve had on the bench to bring on and try change a game in recent years.

Gino is our second most dangerous player. Not always the best but when things happen he's generally involved.

I'm not sure this wingback thing is going to work going forward with Cochrane and particularly Smith tbh. Results have been good but lack of goals from open play/attackers should be a warning sign about the system.

If we persist with it until January we should sign Rooney and Wotherspoon from St Johnstone to replace them. GodIsGod Only half joking. Levein Chin

Those are the players that aren't really contributing as much as expected.
Simples.

I'd take Rooney but Wotherspoon would be absolutely shite at Hearts and the fans would hate him.
