What do you do about Walker man. The likes of McKay is a superior player but if Walker had the game time he did he'd have 7/8 goals.

He's a good player
He's not going to get a game though. It's personal between Neilson and him.

Walkers attitude always been the issue though, I'm glad he got his goal at the weekend but is he going to have that drive to play like that every game or will he eventually just get complacent again and not give a fuck?
If he turns in performances like Dundee every week then we'd be silly to let him go as that's a player who can change the game for you but I just don't believe he's got it in him to stay focused on his football and turn up for the team every week. Not saying he needs to be putting in 10/10 performances every game but he needs 10/10 effort every game and I doubt he can do that. See how it goes for him until the end of the season, he should be getting more game time now over the next few.

If Walker is happy to be a backup player who comes on every so often when we need a goal against Dundee or Livingston, and to be paid in line with that, keep him. He doesn't have it in him to be much more than that tbh. Could actually imagine him being fine with a role like that too, as he looks like someone who hasn't enjoyed playing football for quite a long time now.

After all, who else will continually bail out drawbie when his one trick pony tactics result in a stalemate against teams with a fraction of a budget to us.

I was impressed by Walker's fitness. This is a guy that the manager has done everything to ensure he's considered a bad egg by the fans, told him he'll be leaving and getting no game time and shipped off to Raith for bounce matches. This is after he bailed out the manager multiple times in the 2nd half of the season before.
The boy came on fit as a fiddle and with a first touch and eye for goal that GMS and Woody could only dream of. That chalked off goal he scored when he rounded the keeper but was called back for an earlier foul

I'm not Walker's biggest fan, but I'd have him well ahead of Woodburn in the pecking order.

McEneff done well after being totally frozen out too, came on out of nowhere and scored that sumptuous wee dink against Dundee United

I'd take Walker floating about doing fuck all and scoring rather than GMS losing the ball everytime it goes near him and Ginnelly crossing it out for a shy.
Aye, I actually don't care that much when Walker has a quiet half, floating about doing little.
Cunts pure froth at the mouth when it happens. As if an attacking midfielder has never had a quiet game before. When Walker has a quiet game it results in some disgusting vitroil. If he had a foreign name*, a headband and wasn't a born n bred gorgie boy he'd be cut a lot more slack. *(also if he's a Scouse rat he'll be given the benefit of the doubt a million times too).

Not sure if this is a lampoon of me or what, but I more or less agree with this. Even having totally failed to fulfil his potential, Walker still has something none of our other attacking players have, and can bail us out. If anything, I actually feel like the supersub role is a better fit for where he is now than as a starter, though. If we were bringing him on regularly when we needed a goal, I could see him scoring 8-10 a season; if he was a regular starter, I could still see him scoring 8-10 a season.

Yeh I was agreeing with you, just adding to it.
