If your just looking for something different to play these are 2 decent entry level Les Pauls, Epiphone is a subsidiary of Gibson as well, so will be made to a decent standard albeit with cheaper parts.

Yeah, Epiphones don't even come close to Gibson imo.
I've had one of those specials before and it was basically unplayable, also had an epi standard that i wasn't into.
I was thinking about trying Thomann's Harley Benton range, apparently, you get more for your money with them as they miss out the middle man.

Looking at this   https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_...s_391257_7

Grover Tuners is a big selling point, a lot of these cheaper guitars just don't stay in tune.

My first Acoustic was a Yamaha, it was horrendous, that one looks a bit better though.
I've had a lot of guitars, most expensive one was a 2 and half grand Gibson Les Paul Standard.
The one i miss the most is a Gibson Les Paul Junior, paid £275 for it and sold it for £600.

Decent Tel  Sound

Got a Fender Telecaster that I’ve had for about 12 year and my acoustic. Used to be bang into all sorts of pedals and that but it was getting ludicrously expensive and I was earning shitpence Warnock

That a Melody Maker 4th pic down?

Nah, that's the Gibson LP Junior that i wish i hadn't sold. Best guitar i've ever played, none of your fancy dan push pull nobs, only one pickup. plain and simple.
Although it did have those battery operated tuners on the back, push a button and they spun themselves into tune.  VanGaals Bitch
