Some extra fitba' over the winter break. Quite Good

Will support Malawi since we have some weird post-colonial partnership that i'm never sure how to feel about.

Under 2.5 is usually a good bet in the group stages.

Are there any covid restrictions with crowds? I'm sure the last ACON had terrible attendances.

AFCON always has a few teams on paper that look class but hardly ever actually deliver.

Will be making my decision on who to support based on their kits as usual when it comes to this one though.

Didn’t realise they won it last time :Laugh

There is usually a team or two with a few high profile players flopping out the group stages though.

Here’s a question about African football: why is the Hillsborough disaster never referred to as a “stampede”, whereas you regularly hear of folk dying in African stadia due to stampedes? Woy Not Sure

What channel is covering it? Must say I've never enjoyed an AFCON usually tedious games with 500 stoppages a half.

While agree with you on the AFCON, it's chaotic, the Copa America is a great mix of shithousery, brutality and technical brilliance. Not sure how folks can't enjoy football like that. Laugh

Seen a lot of the pundits talking about European football should respect AFCON more.

Don’t think they were meaning from a fans perspective but more clubs and managers trying to resist letting their players go during the season when it’s just as big as the euros for African players.

Spot on with the Copa America. Sound

I quite like the AFCON due to the madness of it all. Goalies making a cunt of things, shambolic defending at times and outstanding goals.
