All the paperwork done, scarf above head etc

Smith is winding down and this'll free him up to cover at centre half.

Got high hopes for the new boy. Looks like he likes to bomb on and has a bit personality.

Atkinson saying that he has played right wing quite a bit as well. So fingers crossed he provides a real attacking threat when played rb/rwb.

I think Ron Jr is just going to be a workhorse with limited ability.

Agree new lad looks promising.

But how many fans keep referring to Smith at CH?

Yeah it was a good performance, the 4 0 versus Celtic. But we're talking him up like at 33 he'll be some Baresi.

Even as cover, we're better than a 33 year old playing out of position. He'll ship one goal and it'll be, he's too short, too old, too slow, not comfortable enough on the ball out of defence.

Think we need to accept we got good years out of him at RB and it's time we learnt to say goodbye.

We have an academy I hear....

I'm referring to him as a centre half as Souttar and Halkett and Kingsley are all out of contract next season. He's not baresi, he's a body.

What cammo reads - 'he will be Baresi'

Smith has always been a better CB than he is RWB.

He’s a right back but we don’t play that formation so right of a back three will be fine for him. No concerns there.

He's a 33 year old RB for a team that doesn't use a RB. We use a RWB and CHs and a Sweeper.

Trying to find a home for him, even on the bench, is just emotion. And a misty eyed memory of the 4 0 over Celtic. We have a finite budget. Invest elesewhere. And promote youth. Smith can go.

Wtf are you on about this game 5 year ago for as if it’s the only time he’s played at centre half, we didn’t even play a back 3 then Warnock

Whats wrong with being a 33 year old defender btw? Prime age.

Cammo Toe on one again Warnock

Smit will do fine as a back up CB. How much longer does he have on his contract?

Smith will be fine as a squad player for a year or two. We can't just go bumping experienced players for youth players that don't even exist.
