Trying to find a home for him, even on the bench, is just emotion. And a misty eyed memory of the 4 0 over Celtic. We have a finite budget. Invest elesewhere. And promote youth. Smith can go.

Smith has been a solid hand wherever he's been asked to play for about 5 years now. It's not like it's Connor fucking Randall from that game man Warnock

C'mon guys, this is meant to be a discussion of our latest Ozzy braveheart - the new McGowan, Kisnorbo, Garuc...the other McGowan - let's not get derailed by Cammo Toe's objectively terrible opinions.

The planning condition asks for details of the proposed planting but doesn't state that those details have to be carried out so it fails to meet two of the six tests of a planning condition, it's imprecise and unenforceable.

Keep meaning to bam the council up about that at some point. It would make the frontage look a lot better if we did plant them to be fair but I'd rather we signed a striker so there you go.

See if we replaced the roseburn seats with new ones, removed that awful 90s office block blue new stand facade and replaced with clear panels, got some maroon trees, a mural and removed that foundation of hearts plaza sign, I'd genuinely take that over a January swoop for Shankland.

Very decent debut, good play for setting up Cochrane’s goal. Felt we looked a lot more balanced with him on the right rather than Smith who slotted in fine to the back three.

Looked fucking terrified for the first 15 minutes and cost a goal but settled in eventually. Very tricky game to come into. He'll need to toughen up a bit as he's very lightweight. Smith was even worse.

He will be very handy against most teams in this league, particularly at home.

Needs to sharpen up his defending but in the long run maybe no bad thing for him to get that sort of shock to the system early doors. If he had any ideas that it wouldn't be a massive step up from the A-League, he knows where he stands now.

Why does he take shys like an 8 year old. Thought he was going to get huckled for a foul throw every time he took one until souttar took over. Was decent though, think Smit twisted his spine dancing with Jota one too many times.

Smith 100% couldn’t be arsed chasing Jota all night. He ripped the absolute shite out of him Warnock

He's an interesting one.

Dodgy as fuck one moment and then bombing down the line the next Laugh A lot to work on defensively but considering it was a make shift defence he wasn't bad. Attacking wise I like the look of him, far better engine than Smith and more direct. Might take him a bit of time to truly click though.

Needs time to settle but seems to be useful going forward but highly suspect defensively. He'll do well in games we're on the front foot but in higher pressure games I'm not so sure.

It was a disgrace he didn’t get taken off for a proper concussion check and hopefully the club get called out for that.

That aside, Mitchell went past him for fun a few times when he first came on but Atkinson recovered it a bit for the last 10. One good cross that Boyce shat out of but also quite a few he overhit from good positions.

There’s a player there for sure but I think ideally we’d be easing him in instead of him having to play every minute (Neilson did try this tbf until Jota ripped Smit in half Laugh ). Might be an idea to give him all the home games and take him out the firing line a bit away from home until he’s found his feet.
