Think Starmer is the best of a not especially inspiring bunch. A woman would be good purely to avoid smears along the lines of 'the Tories have had two women leaders, sexist Labour lol', but the candidates are all either bad or not ready.

Surprised to see this from me tbf - changed my tune pretty quickly, less because of anything Starmer was saying than because the likes of Alastair Campbell and Ayesha Hazarika clearly saw him as their candidate. Was on the right side of history by voting RLB, as a Labour member at the time. Hung

What is quite incredible has been the speed that starmer has shown himself to be a lying bastard. Dropped all his pledges that made some left wing members think he would at least have some decent policies. Monty Oh Well

Vote of no confidence in the post for Boris tomorrow - cue the next step of easing restrictions as the next distraction for the public.

Don’t even think there are that many restrictions left to ease in England at this point.

Apologies - can you clarify what I slagged you for pls (read your post as being that I slagged you for voting RLB), and I’ll tell you why I’ve been vindicated. Greggy

What I'm confused about is how 'you voted for someone/something who lost' qualifies as a lampoon, particularly coming from someone who supports Scottish independence Warnock

It isn't gambling. The point isn't to pick who you think is most likely to win.

I think it was probably a lazy and arbitrary troll from me to begin with tbf. Warnock Don't forget that I also voted Remain btw. Levein

I still can’t get my head around this Wakeford thing and why Labour MPs were fucking whooping and cheering when he defected Laugh

I understand it’s a one up on the tories in a way obv but this guy has voted against Labour at pretty much every turn, it’s not like he’s some guy with a conscience who has been trying to go against the tories and he’s had enough, he’s towed the party line completely up until now Laugh  Why would you want a person like this representing your party when he’s stood on the opposite side arguing and voting against everything you’re meant to stand for yourself?

Fucking more welcomed into the party than genuine Labour people like Corbyn and the left wing side of the party anaw Crowe

In fact never mind, can see why he appeals to Labour now Titter
