I suppose “leaving the EU without a withdrawal agreement Brexit” just doesn’t have the same ring to it

It was more "if we have a no deal" vs "if we have no deal" tbqhwy m8. Grammar matters. Mugbie

Is it not 'if we have a "no-deal" Brexit'?

Yeah, but "a no deal" is being used as an object in itself (as opposed to an adjective for the object: "Brexit").

Just received an enforcement charge notice from Aberdeen City Council in the post. Muggy

60 quid coz I went through a Bus Gate, like wtf! On a Sat night at almost 8pm (they're 24/7). I vaguely remember being somewhat confused as I'm almost on it, but with two cars in front of me (private hire I guess, sigh!) I assume it'll be like a bus lane and be time restricted only. Fuck no!! Thieving cunts.

But if I pay in first 14 days I get a 50% discount. Gee, thanks. Special

Acey, any advice?

My Dad got a parking ticket in Aberdeen years ago after we were at a game at Pittodrie and he got off with it by saying it blew out from under the wiper into the North Sea Warnock

Just been told my motor which has only done £30k miles probably needs a new engine Happy

Quick bit of looking online suggests about £3,500 for a refurbed engine plus fitting Happy Happy Happy

What car you got? I had to punt my scirocco because of the bills it was amounting. Gearbox disintegrated at 50k then the turbo blew. My advise is cut your losses and sell it fucked. You’ll be out of pocket either way but you won’t be stuck with a car you resent Laugh

That's brutal. was it new or used when you got it? How did that come about? Just one of those things or they got a track record for that sort of stuff?

Was used when I bought it but only 4-5 year old. A bolt that holds the flywheel came loose and shit in to the gearbox chewing gears 1 2 and 6, then blew out a hole in the casing causing all the gearbox oil to spill out. Destroyed the flywheel at the same time. Just unlucky I suppose. Dunno if that put strain on the engine causing turbo problems or not but that was soon after

Mazda 6, 2014 plate.

Sounds like it’s something similar, something has broken in the engine and done a bit of damage. Problem is because it’s not electrical related it’s not showing a fault code (on their diagnostics anyway) so they’re not sure what the problem is exactly. But dismantling an engine and putting it back together will cost about the same as buying a working engine, then there’s the cost of the repair on top Fat Cunt

It’s only at a local garage though, so I’m going to try and get it to Mazda to see if they can say exactly what the problem is.

Get your point about selling it fucked, but we need two cars and our other one is 9 years old and we were planning on replacing that next year. Struggling to find the cash for a new motor now like. I’d be lucky if I could find anything more than the £3.5k they’re quoting me for a new engine fit.

People with no concept of personal space, another skrub bus gripe from me, some cunts sat beside me and decided I’m not worthy of any space whatsoever and wedged me into the window, elbows and everything right back and into my side. Genuinely struggling not to cause a scene :APRant
