Why didn’t you just wave into the kid across the roads window in the hope she had a spare key?

I was planning on going down at about 9 or so tonight to politely ask the downstairs neighbours to keep the noise down a bit when it gets late as I've been having trouble sleeping. Locksmith is currently drilling at 11 PM. Heh What a shambles.

Does your landlord not have a spare key you could have borrowed?

If only I'd seen this last night.

I'd have brought round a flask of soup and a blanket.

Sorry Mak.

Got a bike build project on the go, making up a 1980s colnago road bike. Slowly adding parts but it's honestly been put on hold for ages. Thought I should maybe sort it while on lockdown. Ages ago I bought a vintage water bottle for it (for £27), but the dog chewed it.

Checked to get another one. They're now £150. Sob

Will be using the one with chew marks in it then. Muggy

Like the idea of a bike build project though. Quite Good

Did you buy the frame and then build it from there with spare parts? Curious to give this a shot

I bought the frame yeah, got it on ebay and then have sourced other stuff like the groupset from cycling fora and around. You can still get Turbo saddles for instance, and they were the go to saddle in the 80s. Got the wheels made up with new wheels on the old campagnolo hubs.

Something along the lines of this:

Be good to get it finished.

You're going to look like a total campagnonco riding that. You got the wee tight shorts and that to complete the look aye?
