I managed to get in behind by pulling out the dishwasher (it sits next to the washing machine) although the back left foot caught the lino but think I can cut the snagging bit away without it being obvious when I put it back in. Socket seems fine, and anyway, I used a long extension cord out of a socket from a differnt circuit/loop. Same thing! Thinking its perhaps the heating element/temp switch in the washing machine that's throwing it but dunno really, need to run the dishwasher again, and if it trips then well fuck me, no idea!!
We did have combi-boiler replaced in Nov so was wondering if there is already a residual overload that doesn't take much to trip it when one of these two appliances are on. BUt it trips no mattre which loop I connect the washing machine up to.
Combi isn’t gonna cause much in additional loads they’re usually less than 3amps. If it’s tripping different circuits then it will usually be the appliance that’s causing it rather than a wiring fault.
