We don't have a specific beer thread, so here we go. Craft beer and IPA wank here, but sometimes you can't go wrong with a cold tennents. What are the THF drinking just now?

Have actually been drinking Brewdog recently.
Punk IPA is pretty nice but sometimes get the taste for Elvis Juice. Usually if I'm having a pint it's tennents though Or bottles of Brooklyn if they have it.

I can't get into IPAs and stuff tbh. An ice cold pint of tennents
Think my favourite pint has to be a Moretti though
As a Brewdog Shareholder my current favourites are the updated Indie Pale Ale (they fucked up the first version and had to pull it) and Clockwork Tangerine. Also tried Sonic Boom which is there new German Style IPA but it's 6.5% and you can tell.
Personally I don't think you can go wrong with Stewart's Edinburgh Gold. You don't get it in too many pubs which I'm glad about as I would kick the arse out of it. Another brewery that's getting more popular is Northern Monk (from Leeds). There classic Belgian White Beer is nice. Don't @ me because I'm a craft beer wank plz.

Was in Berlin last week - the beer is
€3 for a big bottle of ice cold pilsner off a street food vendor and not much more in a bar

I normally order a mystery case from Beerhawk once a month - https://www.beerhawk.co.uk/mystery-case
Got some pretty decent stuff in my last one, including some Brooklyn stuff in a blue can that was decent. You get some doublers but for the money it's absolutey brilliant. I'll fire a picture up when I'm home.

It's finished now, but this is along similar lines. https://northern-monk-brew-co.myshopify....er-alefarm

What kind of size bottles are you getting for that bargain basement price? Berliner Kindl Pilsner

I subscribed to Beer 52 for a while, but going to cancel. Quite good getting a case once a month, but the beers have been getting progressively worse, as they are obsessed with putting in fruit IPAs. "Tropical IPA" infused with mango! Wheat beer, with apricot! Stout, with coco nut! I got my case the other day, and there were three normal beers, and 7 with some oddity or another. Not impressed with the trend for throwing in fruit to IPAs tbh, even with wheat beer, I (much) prefer the german style to the belgian, but I can handle a bit of fruit in a belgian white beer. Not into ruining IPA, or porter or stout though.
You get a beer magazine and free bar snack, which adds to the package, but it's not enough when half the beers are going into the category - for a very a rainy day. https://medium.com/@joescarboro/how-to-r...a5464bd070

Lets be honest it is outrageously good, strolling about the place, beer in hand, every wee kiosk, spati and kebab house selling beers with bottle openers on the counter, all the big names, wheat beers, pilsners, helles.

Think I had a coke alongside my first beer when I went to The Bird to try their hot wings, but why would you generally drink anything but beer there? Definitely didn't see anything quite as cheap as that, €3 was the average for a 750ml but a few places doing it for the €2-2.50 region. It's class. Want to go with the lads lads lads next time so I'm not being held back answering questions like “is Himmler German for Hitler†and “can we stop here to have a look because I forgot to pack socksâ€

Stewarts Brewery is just up the road from me so I've been getting fired into pretty much everything they've got on offer. Favourites just now are First World Problems which is a Belgian IPA and Radical Road - both upwards of 6%

Lager is almost always a Tennents for me. I just really like it. Tried the fancier lagers and they just don't add much to the experience and are often worse. Also as we're in Scotland you can almost guarantee you're getting a fresh keg. Was in Doctors the other day and asked for a T and the guy had mistakenly poured a Punk IPA and asked if I wanted it for the same price (£4.25 v £5.60) which I of course took - wish I didn't. Pretty shit for an IPA. Been drinking Wolf Rock at the Pear Tree and it's much tastier.

We're relatively lucky to have Tennents as a local lager. The English have Carling
