The government dropping like flies :

Time for a government of national unity.

Boris and his shakey hand routine has spread it through the government. Tit.

The irresponsibility with which the conservative party has handled the country is despicable, but the practical issue of having the government laid low out of a mixture of bravado and hubris all so that they could be seen to be shaking hands with people is lamentable. The very process of govt will become untenable if, as looks likely, the cabinet keep dropping like flies.
Useless cunts.

Our landlords refusing to give us a break on rent because, and this is his genuine reason,
“At the time of foot and mouth we managed to adapt and confront the challenge. You should reconsider your total closure and continue deliveries as an income stream from the restaurant is still feasible.â€

That's the spike starting to take effect though - this time next week, we could be looking at the rate doubling every second day.

Shelves are bare but there's still enough to get stuff for the week. At my bit anyway. I'd avoid going when it's usually busy as the queues were already backing up when we were leaving. Old woman pushing about an ancient guy in a wheelchair who was a vegetable though. I understand maybe everyone doesn't have the help but I dunno why you need to bring the guy in the wheelchair in the shop, or do it in that NHS/vulnerable hour. Was doing my best to stay away from folk and he got pushed up right beside me while she went raiding the shelves. I ken it's shit for folk who might not have family or help but it's literally life or death at this point for people like that.

The wife went this morning.
Absolutely hee haw of interest in the bags that came back. Still at least we are stocked up on bags of spinach, crackers and a standard loaf of wholemeal bread.
