What a nonsense, selfish cunts coming out with any of those excuses. What's stopping them walking through the park for their exercise and going home like they're supposed to?

People who now need to exercise daily when they're meant to stay inside do my heid in.
These cunts who for all their lives have sat on their hole but the one time they're told to stay inside they do the opposite just to be smarmy and think they know better. I've not got a balcony or garden but it's hardly the end of the world to do fuck all for a few months. It's boring but get on with it.

RANT OVER!!

Completely agree with Morph above, seen more cunts running about than ever before - have to be kitted out in the full gear too.
I think there'll be tighter lockdown controls introduced by next Friday for another 3 week period, people just aren't listening or they think they know better.

If you're in doors 23 hours a day (technically) then you better take that hour to walk, run or cycle or you will go mental in a few weeks.

It's mental health!

It's mental health! That's what the walks are for though, take your hour to go for a wander, get some fresh air. It's not a hardship to ask you to not sunbathe for a few weeks/months so folk don't die when they don't need to.

It's mental health! I live in a flat, I wouldn't even consider going to the park to sunbathe just now. It's just selfish as fuck. Go for a walk around it if you want and get your exercise as the guidelines say. If that guy is getting to sun bathe and enjoy the weather then why should 2000 other folk not join him? Crack a few beers open and maybe got a BBQ going as well? There is a line to tread because you have to keep the rules relaxed enough to keep this sustainable for a period of time but it's not fucking hard two weeks in as Begbie says. If you're using common sense then there is no problem with people doing it but the problem is people who use this hour to exercise as if it's a free pass to get outside on a technicality. Heard of people who were taking wine to the park to sit 2m apart, it just completely defeats the purpose of the whole thing. There's loads of people acting like that, people who want to get out just to go against the rules to make a point. It's just sad as fuck and it's going to just make everything take longer when people are being deliberately unhelpful.

It's already worse in other countries like Spain, Austria, or France. We've got some pretty relaxed self-isolation rules, which are fine provided people don't take the piss, but people shouldn't be looking for loopholes or ways to get around them. The hour's exercise is enough to get out and about.
A week or two ago I was still partly blaming the government's mixed messages for people being out and about (still do blame the government for not doing enough to close businesses, but that's another issue), but it's very clear at this stage. Going out sunbathing is just selfish.

Don't take the piss but nowt wrong with a bit of down time in these times, as long as you're being cool about it.

Absolutely no issue with everyone using their daily exercise recommendation though. It's a good thing if people who weren't previously exercising are now going for an hours walk.

The thing that gets me is the lack of common sense and consideration.
I'm still going running and do my best to keep 2 meters minimum from people, happy to weave about, run down the middle of a deserted road etc. Its when you're on a path and run towards people dawdling along 2 or 3 abreast that make no effort to leave a gap for others to go through that it gets frustrating.

Just bought four loose rolls without thinking. They were loose in a big bag and you just dipped in and picked them up. Think I got four of the last six or seven in the bag, so hands would've been in that all morning
Rolls chucked and hands bleached when I got home. Scary how easy it is to not think and just touch a door handle or some shit

Some people are selfish and won't change no matter what happens. |
