What age is the BMX for, VS?

Telling you what got me seething (still does) was my mum taking a mint-condition functioning ZX81(with 16k Ram) and a BBC B micropcomputer along to the charity shop about 15 yrs ago. I didn't think you'd need them again, she said. No but ...., why do you think I kept them in the cupboard with all the other stuff, like the ancient metal detector and the train set, which she gave away to her cousin (ony just got that back recently).
Least she left the programmes alone!

You should spend the time to list them individually on Ebay. I did it for my dad a couple of years ago with programmes from roughly 1982-2002. There was the odd programme from the 50s, 60s and 70s in there too. Folk are always looking for specific programmes to finish off a collection. Think we sold just over half of what we listed and the money he made from it paid for flights to Florida in full for 5 of us. The ones that didn't sell we just gave to a boy on Gorgie Road who used to have a football memorabilia shop. Don't know if it's still there.

Ever seen the Unlucky Alf sketch where he steps into a puddle and ends up neck high? Pretty much that happened to me up the Pentlands today.
Was walking round the far end of Harlaw reservoir with the dug, got myself in some deep mud but decided to power through to the other side. Take a step forward and suddenly I'm belly-deep in freezing cold mud and have to basically walk my way out of it. Was caked in the stuff about an inch thick when I got out, very quickly freezing cold, and then had the long walk round past three different groups of people, looking like the fucking Swamp Thing

Always a terrible decision to power through in those situations Mind I did similar on Cumbrae one time, the bursd I was with insisted we were going the right way, even when we ended up in a field full of cattle, and it was muddy AF. Tried to power to the other side, put my foot down near the end and it went straight through, shoes ruined

Instant regret
Reckon my shoes will pull through but I was wearing my favourite walking troosers, which used to be grey
