Tried watching the crown. Gave it two episodes but it's not for me. The production and performances are i'm sure great (although Lithgow's Churchill is shit), but it's very slow (two hours in and all that's happened is the King died) and the conflict is not the sort of thing I can bring myself to care about. The big set up towards the end of the second episode was how Elizabeth would need to put personal considerations to one side and let THE CROWN come first. The way they showed this was, when she got off the plane upon returning to the UK, she had to be accompanied down the steps by a member of the household rather than Philip.
I just can't bring myself to pretend that constitutes a crisis in any real way.
Dinnae slag me but i watched about 6 episodes of shipwrecked on the channel 4 app.
Not usually into that sort of shite but it became addictive.
It's nothing like what i was looking for though, like stranded on an island having to fend for yourself, they just got all their food supplied for them and even won a fecking bar for doing a task.
