If England have to be good at a sport, I'm very comfortable with it being cricket.

When they won the world cup it barely even registered as it's that shite a 'sport'

Had to get my wee dog put to sleep a couple of weeks ago, absolutely gutted but she had been ill.
I paid for a private cremation and was advised by the vet her ashes would be returned within 2 weeks at the latest. I phoned to ask if her ashes had been returned but they said, no it would at least another week, 3 weeks since she was put to sleep. I asked why the delay and was informed that the people that do the cremation are busy, she also advised they're based 90 miles away through west so me collecting them wasn't an option. Has anyone had their pet cremated and if so, how long until you received their ashes? Not sure if 3 weeks is reasonable but I'm feeling pretty peeved about it, also no idea why she has sent half way across the country.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get the ashes soon.
Dogs are great. They give so much love. Unfortunately their lives are fairly short and when then do go they leave a huge hole in our lives.

Sets you up for a hard day at the graft. Better in the morning than in the afternoon when you'll be wide awake all neet! |
