Give it 10 years and they'll be the best nation in Asia.
Fully expect them to get to a World Cup final ahead of USA.
The Chinese contingent will still be gash, they'll just have a few 'stars' to play with who will earn more than them in a half arsed hours training session than they will all season.
The USA had the cosmos and all the big names back in the day and fuck all came of it. Same thing happening in China now. Fuck all's going to come of it.
China have made football a part of their curriculum. Look at what China have done with other sports, I'm sure they're capable of finding 11-19 players out of their 1 billion population who are capable of getting their nation to the latter stages of an international competition, especially the way the World Cup is going to end up working out!

You do know the story of what happened to American soccer in the 70's?
Apparently Paul Clement and Gary Rowett are the front runners for the Swansea job they must be accepting their fate already and preparing for next season in the championship.

Thing is though, Clement *fits* Swansea perfectly I reckon.

They panicked because Monk needed more money to keep the momentum of the club going, they tried to bring in a proven manager to get more out of what was there. At least that's how it seemed to me.
