McGregor playing ahead of Gordon.
The wee fucking ginger cunt will do anything to avoid playing players who play in Scotland.

How uninspiring.

Didn't realise northern Ireland had such an easy group, fucking hell.

They've only got 1.8m people, have a pub league, and yet: - Qualified in 1958 by eliminating Italy and Portugal. Then got out of a group containing World Champions West Germany, Argentina and Czechoslovakia, and did it playing open, sexy football - Qualified in 1982, then topped a first round group containing hosts Spain - Qualified in 1986, after beating West Germany home and away in Euro 84 qualifying - Beat England, Sweden and Spain under Lawrie Sanchez: the last of those the very match which precipitated Spain's historic sea change to keep-ball tiki taka - Topped their qualifying group here It's an incredible record. They should really have had no chance of ever doing anything. Quite the reverse though.

6 players over 30 and 1 under 26
Strachan can't survive.

More on the brand of football played by Northern Ireland in the 1950s please.

Also really good to see Strachan looking towards the next campaign by giving untested youngsters McGregor, Greer, Maloney and Martin a chance. Detestable wee scrote.

Really cant see the SFA looking to move in another direction. Strachan has been a funny one as there have been definite signs of progress up until the business end of things. Have been someone who defended him in the past but I think its 2 points out of 12 which really has fucked things up royally.

Gordon fucking Greer just embarrassing that he never called up some younger untested players when we were playing Gibraltar.
10-11-2015, 06:36 PM
Unfortunately, there aren't enough good young players coming through.
It's alarming how few players have stepped up from the U21's in recent years. How much of that is the manager's fault is up for debate.

As to whether he goes or not: unless Scotland are truly terrible tonight, I suspect he'll stay. The case for him to go isn't open and shut IMO; there's arguments either way. |
