From what i've seen of him this season i think he's been a bit underwhelming but i'm not sure if that's down to Neilson insisting on humping it to juanma every game.
He needs to be played as a striker, not a fan of having him out on the wings at all but if he goes, he goes. I don't think he will be a massive loss. We've still got goals from other players in the team. I would rather keep him and try and get some money for him tho.
If we were to play a system that suited Sow then ye probably. But we're insisting with one upfront and hoofing it long. If any of our strikers is going to cope with that type of play then it's Juanma.
There's no point in having Sow in that system, and there's no point in having him out wide and he's obv too good to be a 2nd option.
Juanma has scored 8 in 16. That's a goal every other game. It's not like we'd be left without a striker who can't score if Sow left.
As i said we'll need to replace Sow if he goes as Reilly isn't up to scratch.
Juanma I'd say is decent, sometimes i fucking hate him like but his goal record is respectable, Sow has more ability but he's not consistently good week to week, I'd like to keep the big man but if it looks unlikely then surely Mr. Levein can pull a wee rabbit out the hat from abroad.
