Think there's plenty dlc too so hopefully pick that up for cheap since it's quite old now.
got it a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it so far.
Dunno the proper story as it's one of these games that is massive on the lore and all that. Think you need to have played it from game 1 to fully get what's going on. Think there might be books as well for the proper nerds. I have no real clue what or why I'm doing it (morphlife.txt)
It's basically a game where you play a freelance monster hunter though

That actually looks pretty good. I knew there was some sort of tv/film thing in the works but I never paid much attention as usually associate stuff that spawns out of games as a bit shit
That looks more down the lines of game of thrones rather than the world of Warcraft film or that assassins creed pish.
What came first then? Was it the games that inspired the books or the other way around?

The DLC are both basically full-length games and absolutely tremendous. I think Hearts of Stone is the stronger story (just) and Blood and Wine is probably the best DLC ever made for any game.
Recently played through them all again a little while ago and found so much stuff I didn't discover. Like the quest where you take magic mushrooms and the horse speaks to you, totally missed it first time round Also completed my Gwent deck
Really high hopes that Cyberpunk 2077 lives up to the hype.

Downloaded the free to play game recently. It's not the same They've over-complicated it and most of the cards are different
Check out Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, decent wee game with a good story and Gwent-based combat. Should be quite cheap now.

In the first round the cunt just keeps playing cards until he's scored more than me, so by round 2 or 3 I have no cards left apart from weather ones
Git gud.
It's best of three so you don't actually need to win all the rounds, it usually comes down to who has the most cards left at the end so just pass if you're not going to win the first round.
